Absolutely Superb, Brilliant service. Rooms are absolutely Beautiful and are perfect for a large family. It’s lovely with and old Design and modern look with a beer garden too. A great place to visit for a drink and a stay too. Thank you to the staff that too so much care of us it means a lot. The Pizzas were delicious after spending the day at a Boiling RIAT. Thanks again!

The landlady was very kind and helpful, the room was perfect for what we needed (rm 14 family room - note no shower). The kids were happy. All the staff were really kind & helpful and went above and beyond for us. Location was ideal for Fairford. We booked again we were so taken with the place.Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5 …More

We have stayed here for many years while going to Cornbury music festival and after a long day working we always had a pint when we got back. Not this year new owners not a very nice attitude and didn't even do breakfast if we had know when booking then we would've gone elsewhere and the rooms could do with a little TLC won't be going back! Which is a shame as we have many fond memories of the place over the years!😡

Stayed here for a couple of nights. The decor needs a bit of updating but beyond that, big bedrooms, a comfy bed, hot shower, perfect location with coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance 👍Rooms: 3/5 | Service: 3/5 | Location: 4/5 …More

Excellent accommodation, highly recommend, in traditional style. The host was very helpful, nothing too much trouble. The beds were comfy, the carpets new, fresh new towels and lots of toiletries supplied. The hotel is in perfect location in the town and for visiting Oxford and the Cotswolds.Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5 …More

Decent pub with pool table, darts and music and reasonable prices.Staff were friendly but I had to knock a star off because the mens toilet floor was absolutely soaking. Not sure if there was a leak or not

It was a lovely room very large and a fab super king-size bed. But it was freezing no heating at all. And couldn't get the radiators to work. Also when we booked on line it said cooked breakfast. When we arrived we were told that breakfast wasn't available? We had to go to the mill cafe over the road. ( which was delicious)Rooms: 3/5 | Service: 2/5 | Location: 4/5 …More

The Landlady and staff cannot do enough for you and the pub is charming with a fabulous atmosphere. It's a very old building where you xan expect rooms with character at a really low price, especially considering the area you are in. If you are looking for super duper modern rooms then maybe this isn't for you, but, as mentioned it's an old place, and for me personally, I loved it!

Room 14 was fantastic once we arrived. Then realised we had no heating, radiators don't work. And 1 switch works ALL lights! So it's all lights on or off no in-between of lowering lighting. Then there's the noise from pub.. plus parking is horrendous!! We were woken up during the night to let an apparent day worker leave 🤷♀️ we assumed it was a fellow visitor we blocked in not a day worker during the night.AVOID this place.. plus it doesn't do food like they advertise...proper let down. Won't be back and definitely won't recommend 😔
