Madeira Fish Bar in West Oxfordshire

Odd overcooked chips, but generally light and fluffy. Not sure if they have any vegan options but would be great to see some.

Loved this fish bar until they closed for four weeks over one Christmas and New Year forcing us to use the fish and chip shop a few doors away. Unfortunately, you lost us 😔

Great local chippy. Friendly and chatty staff always make you feel welcome. Highly recommended.

We were at this fish and chips shop last Friday and had fish and chips. And they were great , nice and hot and tasty to eat . And the staff was great as well , we will go back again very soon .

Chips are great plus they do a mean kebab

So not only do u mess the order up, meaning I need to drive back to olney to ensure that everybody gets fed, we get back, my partner starts eating and pulls a hair out of her mouth that's in the doner meat she ordered! 🤢Absolutely disgusting and will not b returning that's for sure!And instead of dealing with it yourself, being the manager, passing the phone on to your young colleague that took the order correctly, despite u trying to say she didn't, is a pretty low and cowardly move!Wouldn't even give u a 1/10!No wonder people prefer enzos!

Superb quality of food, freshly cooked. Ordered a mixed kebab and the taste was amazing. So much food - large is big, my wife had to save half!Fish and chips is so good too. I order a large cod, medium cod and 1 large chips for 2 of us... and we still have leftovers.Pizzas are really tasty too.This is a going to be more of a regular for us.Thanks Rita ! ❤️

Paying for convenience, not for good food unfortunately. Visited this place a few times, each time ordering something different hoping it would be better, but no. I mean, look at their “stuffed crust” pizza.... the cheese isn’t even in the crust. Everything is just low quality and expensive. I’ve given it 2 stars because at least it was edible, but if you have other options for food definitely take it.

Friends took me to this place as I hadn't had a Kebab for years. The own is fantastic and the Kebab was amazing. When ever I decide to have another one, this is the place to go get it. Excellent service. Great food. Individual requirements catered for. Well worth the money which isn't expensive and great value. Mr M
