£2.50 for a portion of mushy peas which was 50% water. Undercooked chips and staff who dont listen. Expensive mistake

I've used them twice since moving here, the first time everything went alright aside for a long wait which generally I don't think is a big deal. The 2nd time was yesterday and I had the burger, I woke up in the middle of the night violently vomiting. This is definitely a massive red flag and will not be using them anymore and I would advise future customers to stick to the fish and chips which are alright, because items like burgers that don't sell as much clearly aren't looked after either in the storing or cooking process.

Just moved to what is described the best side of Oxfordshire. Decided to have fish and chips with the family! Ordered almost over £60 of food. The large fish was disgusting tasted old and refried, the chips were just a medley of cooked and uncooked potatoes with a good helping of the oil infused burnt scrap that should be binned!. This was my first time to off the hook! The customer service was non existent! A rock would have more manners than the girl who served me! kept coughing in to her own hands and made me feel as if I should be grateful for standing inside. The so called seafood meal was an adventure I was looking for the squid and calamari! then I found it also full of oil and barely cooked.. Never again comes to mind!!! They charge a lot of money which would be ok if the food was amazing but this substandard food is a joke. Give it a swerve it will save you heart ache and money.

Undercooked chips and the fish and scampi had way too much batter on them. For the amount of money spent, this was extremely disappointing.

Excellent local chippy with a wide choice and efficient, friendly staff. My only issue is that the online ordering is a bit tricky to use and the email confirmation is via amazonses.com, which is a bait for spam filters. Five stars if you switch to a better online platform!

Quality Fish and Chip shop, friendly staff and more great food on the menu. They even do tasty fresh pizza. Lots on offer, reasonably priced too. Will go again, definitely recommend!

Ordered from here for the first time yesterday. We were very happy to see that there were gluten free options available on this day, and rang to check that what we ordered was definitely gluten free, and checked again when we collected. Couldn't actually fault the food, but if you have coeliacs disease or a gluten intolerance/ allergy then don't order from here. My boyfriend has coeliacs disease and had a serious gluten reaction from this food. We found bits of batter in with the chips which goes to show that everything stated gluten free is cooked in the same oil as the normal food. We spoke to the manager who told us that this is the case.

Spent £9 on large chips and x2 sausages. This is the size of the portion of chips we received also undercooked and generally inedible. I would describe that is unacceptable.

·

The fish was quite greasy that the batter became wet. Noticed other customers being very precise in what they order and as a first customer we were not and £42 for fish and chips was a lot

Lovely fresh fish, lovely curry sauce as well. Curry sauce has what looks like chilli flakes in and it's different to other fish shop curry sauce. The large chips looks enough to feed all 3 of us (2 adults and a toddler) as it's a decent size portion 🙂
