Spice Lounge in West Oxfordshire

- Overall, the atmosphere was stressful and not very relaxing. One senior employee was very gruff with the younger employees in front of the customers and bossed them around. This had the effect that the younger staff also acted a bit stressed, even though they managed to stay very friendly, which we appreciated.-+ The quality and the taste of the food was good, but the portions compared to the price were very small, e.g. 5£ for a small bowl of rice is not ok.

Eat here and order regularly, Never disappoint. Foods beautiful and service is amazing. Highly recommend.

Fantastic service, only bettered by the food. It really was the best Indian food I've had in a long time, would highly recommend a visit.

The food was pretty standard but it's quite expensive for standard. Waiting staff were very helpful and attentive. Ambience is nice with both upstairs and downstairs seating available.Last booking time is 8.30 which I thought was a little early to leave the pub 😉

Amazing food, fantastic service. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Thursday evening was not too busy early on but you could see it was popular as the evening went on.

By far the best Indian restaurant we have ever been to. Always excellent food & the service is the best we have received anywhere we have been. We have to mention Linton, who is the star of the restaurant. He always greets us like old friends & always makes our evening, especially for my wife, who is always very disappointed if we go on his night off!!! Can't praise the restaurant enough, definitely recommend.

Popped in a couple of weeks ago for dinner. Lovely food in a great atmosphere. Staff were really friendly and well mannered. Brilliant service. Really impressed! Highly recommended 👌

Ate here many moons ago, perhaps a decade so was looking forward to going back anyway but wow have to say their chicken tikka naga must be up there with the best Indian dishes I’ve ever had. Beautiful spices and oozing with flavour with a fantastic mouth-coating texture - just amazing.Service was great too they had taken note of a special request in the booking request and did their utmost to deliver. Very friendly, nothing too much trouble.I will not be leaving it another ten years to return.

Amazing food, really good service, everyone was really nice and professional and food comes out quickly and it's delicious. Must try the mango.
