Have been getting curry from here from years. A mix of eating in and takeaway. Yesterday was a takeaway. Korma, chicken tikka and something from the specials menu. Each was delicious and very much an individual dish. Some of the negative comments reflect i think more an ignorance of curry than this lovely, family run curry house. Shocking news for some but curries vary from region to region and from family to family. Yes there's a sweeter twist to some of the curries. Maybe then don't ask for curries that tend to sweetness anyway. Ask for advice when choosing what to eat. Please also treat the staff kindly. I've seen some incredibly rude customers here. We've always had nothing but kindness and good food from here.

Having caught them twice on CCTV dumping large amounts of rubbish outside our premises without any remorse it is of no surprise that they are completely disrespectful of their neighbours. Chipping Norton’s other restaurants are superior in quality and demeanour.

Some of the best food I have ever had, small simple restaurant but Amazing food & great service!!

Not at all impressed. Just odd and not enjoyable. Portion size and service for non locals was bad. Tiny amounts of food. Food tastes OK but its a bit weird, strange recips. Poor hygiene around toilets and kitchen area and staff. Won't be returning. Don't go for onion bahji and main dishes are about half a small chicken breast or 3 king prawns

Want to find some Asian food in Chippy. There are two choices: one is Thai and the other is Indian. I want the latter one this time. This is Friday night. The restaurant is almost full. We are lucky to have a table without any prior reservation.Food is good besides the lamb curry. Too chewy. My recommendation will be the starter, a selection of Indian snacks, and also the tandoori chicken. Both yummy!

Can’t recommend these guys enough! I’m vegan and my husband loves seafood. Between us we are always so impressed by the food (my husband highly rates the King Prawn Masala) and I like to explore all the different vegetable dishes. Occasionally we test out having an Indian from elsewhere but it never matches the quality and taste of Spice of India.

I love my Indian food and have tried many places this ranks the bottom of the list for me food doesn't taste correct the recipes are way off small portion size and do not buy the onion bargy flat and dry bin worthy. The nan was plain ordered garlic nan. This place needs a new chef ASAP that knows his recipes and can make decent Indian food that taste like what you ordered not some random sauce.

I have to leave an honest review for others. Beer was "off" and tasted of egg. Lamb chop shocking. Burnt and nothing of it. More like a re cooked left over. Main chicken tikka was 5 sliced pieces in a sticky sauce. Husband was ill next day. Not good.
