Fantastic traditional village pub, very friendly staff. Delightful rooms we did not stay but definitely will book a room next time we are in the area

Don't have lemon meringue pie. Expected chilled deep pie with fluffy meringue, received something zapped to death in a microwave. Accomodation and staff warm and welcoming

Only stopped one night for business. I arrived quite late, the team on duty were really welcoming and were the same the next morning when checking out. The room whilst basic was warm and comfortable, suited me perfectly but I like my accommodation quaint. Would recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in a traditional pub.

Very nice food, drinks and service good too.Tried to book for lunch but they finish serving at 2.30, so booked for evening.Would have booked another night if known there was a wake and their buffet in the restaurant so felt a little awkward.Despite this we would recommend.

Great host, very accommodating. Stayed in the rooms upstairs for 2 nights. Lovely breakfast both mornings. Extra effort put in for an early check in too! Can't fault our stay, thank you

Lovely village Inn very friendly food was fantastic. Room was clean and cosy

Pub itself is very nice and comfy, however the experience we had wasn't great, we came here for a 21st birthday meal and preordered. Sent the order through in advance then had a call to be told they didn't have most of what we'd ordered. We then ordered deserts and the same thing happened, very frustrating but the staff themselves were lovely. The food itself was okay, I had a burger which came lukewarm and with a massive slice of cheese on it which wasn't melted and was just a bit too thick so it felt like you were just eating cheese! The shepherds pie was quite dry and bland, however the lamb shank and the steak and ale pie was delightful!

Nice, friendly staff. Clean and spacious bedroom. Lovely full English in the morning and every request was seen to quickly and with a smile! Very reasonably priced as well. Thank you for the lovely stay!!
