Rung them up to reserve a table, asked if we could have a table out of the way as we are coming with our very nervous dog. I did not however expected the overwhelming thoughtfulness once we arrived. They offered us a choice of 2 tables they considered to be out of the way of passing customers. The food was beyond excellent and reasonably priced and it had a fantastic family atmosphere. Will visit again when in the area. Well done guys, 👏

Such a lovely afternoon spent here. Food was faultless, service was great. We were a party of 9 adults and 5 kids, (they had such a fun afternoon playing in the kids area, they didn't want to leave). Final bill was very reasonable, especially considering the great quality of the food served. Will definitely be back!

What a gem. Lovely menu. Dog friendly. Super staff. Only just outside of Burford. Big garden. Heaters. Part covered. Play area for little ones.

Excellent lunch at this gorgeous little establishment. Indoor & outdoor dining available. All COVID safe. Delicious seasonal menu choices and all freshly cooked & presented. Great place for folks of all ages and child & dog friendly too. Many thanks to all staff. 10/10

Went for our first meal out since lockdowns as was so pleased to see they have a marquee with heaters in the garden (blankets provided too). I wish I could give more stars as both the hosting and the food were beyond amazing, we felt very welcomed. The poached halibut with wild garlic gnocchi is one of best meal I ever had, but all of our dishes were delicious. The quality & presentation is fine dining, luckily the price is not. 🙂Can't wait to return, wish we lived closer. 😋

I was lucky enough to see the restaurant on my way into Burford, so stopped on my return journey.A nice large car park and a big lawn with a capacious marquee (part of the c19 restriction). The menu was excellent and I chose the halibut with gnocchi, baby onions and samphire dish. It was a real pleasure to eat; so tasty, a dish to eat slowly and savour!Thoroughly recommended.

Gorgeous place, love the outside tent and the throws as it's still chilly mid April. Delicious food. Gorgeous staff. Good choice of find too .Made very welcome. Would love to return one day if we head to Oxford again. Very worth the 2 1/2 drive and back in a day 😏

Beautiful pub and the food was unbelievable. Highly recommend the venison tartare and the plaice with mussels but everyone's food looked delicious. The drinks were reasonable and the staff could not have made us feel more welcome. Perfect for a sunny day

Amazing find! Beautiful pub and garden with an excellent food selection and amazing staff. We had a Sunday roast, that came with a side of cauliflower fondue I think, and the desert. We loved everything, the meat, the veggies, the side, the potatoes, and the dessert. The meat was super tender and perfectly cooked.A real gem, I got hungry just writing this review. If you're in the area it's definitely worth a visit and a detour.
