Only a quick visit as staying in the area for one night therefore short review.Nice clean appearance and friendly atmosphere from staff.Meal options good but basics priced slightly higher.Would i come again if in the area, yes.Did not stay in rooms so no comment to make.

To start, the location is very beautiful and quaint. It draws you in and once your in, makes you feel as if you are one of the gang. The staff are incredibly friendly and very attentive. I had the Lamb curry out of curiosity and can with pleasure say that it is some of the best lamb curry I have ever had. It’s important to note that I visited Dipna Anand’s signature restaurant in Somerset house, London and can say that The Chequers is a can’t miss spot. I am somewhat astonished at how the spices blended with the tender Lamb to create something truly spectacular.Well done to the chef and for those looking for some of the best curry in the UK, look no further.

I hosted a surprise birthday here for my partner and they were so accommodating. Provided wonderful hospitality, great rooms for all the guests and let us use their wonderful function room too.Would strongly recommend them, was a really family friend vibe and will definitely be visiting again.

The location was good for our visit to Blenheim. If you are a National Trust member, its a good location for a variety of places to see. The Service was good but it would have been even better if cereals and fruit juice etc had been set out for self service. Cooked breakfast was tasty. The room was clean, the bed comfortable however, the door kept rattling, the bathroom had a slight oder and shower curtain needed replacing along witha lack of extra toiletries. Disappointed with the selection of drinks and biscuits available in the room. No bottled water. The evening meals were tasty but over priced. Hope this is helpful!

Stayed here a few months back, the rooms are on point. The food had a real homemade taste. Beautiful in every aspect.

Very friendly owners, lovely food (curry is beautiful) the steak was perfect and very clean pub. Great price and close to Oxford, we would stay again next time we are in the area.

Excellent! Delicious, home-cooked Indian food (definitely recommend the veggie dhal). Very comfortable bed, clean bathroom with great shower, well located for easy access to Oxford. Service was first class and the bar downstairs is gorgeous - great cozy space with a beautiful conservatory/room at the back. My partner and I will definitely stay here again. Recommend!

I stayed here for a weekend to see Blenheim Palace.Such a lovely cosy, family run place. The owners are so friendly and helpful, they go out of their way to make the stay so lovely. Try the curries, homemade, freshly made and so delicious.I will be returning and recommend to anyone.
