Food was a long time to come out (about an hour and half after ordering) and the place was not busy so no excuse. The rump steak ordered was medium rare and came out nearly well done. However, the waiting and bar staff were very nice, attentive and apologetic to the fact the food was slow to arrive and cold.

OMG the staff were absolutely wonderful. We were recommended the Bee Sting cider wow it's sweet and powerful at 6.8% and tasted divine. I had the fish burger and my husband had the pub combo both of which were really tasty - yum yum. We would highly recommend a visit 👍🏽

My partner and I were very surprised with the portions and variety of food options for vegetarian and vegans. The jackfruit nachos were delicious! I had the fish burger which was a very big piece of fish and my partner’s steak sandwich was juicy and filling. Staff were lovely and friendly and toilets were clean. Definitely worth the visit if you’re in the area. They have live music on Fridays.dog friendly

I can not express how terrible the food was here !. My burger buns were ice cold !!! When I asked to have them warmed up the staff seemed annoyed. My husband’s fish from his fish and chips was soggy and just disgusting overall. There were kids who clearly belonged to the owner as they were in and out of the bar and kitchen consistently shouting. What explains the food being so terrible was that it was prepared by teenagers in the kitchen which we could clearly see from where we were sitting. Would not recommend coming here waste of money and time. Terrible food !!!

Lovely pub with amazing food. Catered for a table of 8 with small notice and was a pleasure to dine here. Excellent choice of beers and cider too! Will be visiting again.

·

The staff here are very friendly, accommodating & helpful in this cosy dog friendly pub. The food was tasty as usual - eaten here 3 times previously! Will be returning in April.

Lovely meal here! The staff were all very warm and friendly, and as us requested, sat us in the beer garden! Great timing to enjoy the evening sun after a very warm day.The starter Mezze Platter was an amazing surprise, highly recommend! The food size is very generous, with the grilled red peppers and the olives definitely being the crowd pleaser. The steaks were delicious and the accompanying tomatoes and mushrooms are equally flavourful.According to the only vegetarian in the family, the vegan lasagna was also very nice, though slightly disappointing in that it was a little on the dry side, which is why four stars as opposed to five is given.Overall though, the meal was very satisfying and thoroughly enjoyed!

From London & was on a day trip of the Cotswalds. So pleased we popped into this lovely little pub for lunch. We had fish n chips & steak n ale pie....food was out of this world delicious. Friendly staff, great service & most importantly clean facilities.

Food was good, we were in a group of 17 and the service was quick. The steak pie, peas & chips and the Apple pie crumble with custard both were very good.

Best to sit inside and well away from the high street traffic noise and pollution. For just ÂŁ5 the kid's fish and chips option was a generous portion and came with baked beans, and was followed by a choice of dessert and fruit drink. Steak in baguette came with chips for ÂŁ9. The signature Cotswold Arms' adult fish and chips was ÂŁ14, and could be shared by 2 light eaters. Everything was well prepared, presented and tasty.
