The Crown Inn Restaurant in West Oxfordshire

Staff really friendly however quite slow service and quite noisy.May be we went a the wrong time, but fairly loud and busy inside. A lot of people coming and going past the table, southing and making noise.Would have liked to see a divide between the bar and the restaurantOtherwise good food and great staff

A friendly Boutique hotel. Rooms beautifully decorated in quirky but high quality style. Stunning bathroom. Gorgeous crisp white linen on the large kingsize bed. Lively bar area and sunny garden spot at the back. Perfectly positioned for the beautiful small town of Woodstock and Blenheim Palace and surrounding Oxfordshire

Retirement party and we were provided with a private room without asking! Staff brilliant, menu and food quality great. Wines very good quality for price. An excellent evening 😄

Lunch at a highly recommended venue (food..home cooked with attention), 2 Arkells on tap + usual instantly forgettable ones). Home made cakes inside display cabinet look very tempting. Had the fish pie which had proper bechamel sauce + decent sized hunks of fish and not usual gloopy mess + mash...and fresh parsley for the peppery hit.

Great hospitality by all the team friendly and extremely helpful. We had a set 2 course meal roast chicken and the New York cheesecake with strawberries is was outstanding.Definitely worth a visit.

Booked a table for Monday, disappointed when we turned up hungry and the only thing in menu is pizza. So with not much service or food we ended up spending the same amount as a place down the road. Bit surprised about the service charge as there was no service and little food. Oh ants on the table, inside!. On a plus note I think pizza was nice and inside is quite nice. Probably just bad luck.

Delicious lunch sat by a lovely fire but it was the service that really impressed - the waiters were friendly and made a great change from untrained monosylabic staff experienced recently in other eateries. I know recruitment is a challenge but The Crown seem to have it cracked with their team. Highly recommend a visit.

Great Hospitality, Ever Smiling and helpful team always ready to oblige. Nice rooms with beautiful somber interior. Bar is vibrant at most time. Food quality excellent. Location central with parking within 100 yards. A straight 10/10.

Lovely venue for our youngest daughter's wedding at the weekend. Really friendly and helpful staff. A big Thank You to David, Mike and the rest of the team for making our stay so very pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Excellent food and drink!

Had the seafood stew without mussels, Sunday roast beef, kids pizza and fish fingers. The food was nice but a little pricey for what it is, especially the kids meal were £8 each, no drink or dessert included. There was 3 standard fish fingers, a bunch of peas and fries. Service was good and atmosphere was nice too.
