The Evenlode in West Oxfordshire

Regular meet up with friends for food and drinks. Very good selection of drinks and a very good menu. The food was excellent cooked fresh and arrived quickly. The staff are happy and friendly and knowledgable about the menu. The beef cheeks were amazing and very tasty and tender cooked to perfection. The pizzas were also really good. Very good value for money.

Dave and his staff at The Evonlode, were warm and friendly. The room was very clean, comfortable and offered those nice little touches, such as coffee machine, fruit and breakfast bars. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and the staff were knowledgeable of the menu, and ensured you had everything you needed. We will definitely be returning.. Thank you for a great stay!!

Been passing this place and finally stopped to eat. What a decision! The food was excellent, all home made and very tasty and we'll presented. The staff were brilliant and our waitress very good. Would 100 percent recommend this place.

Thankyou to Dave and his team , we had such a wonderful time because of you all. Room was lovely , food so tasty , service great nothing was to much trouble. We will certainly be staying again .

Not impressed at all ! For the money the food wasn't very good , the menu looks great and quite classy but the meal didn't match up ,to be honest you would have got just as good atweatherspoons ! I must say ourwaiter was apologetic and did try his best to please .

We have just had the most amazing meal for my daughter's 15th birthday. 11 of us for starters, mains and desserts! The service was outstanding, food was to die for, great portion sizes and a fantastic warm atmosphere! Thank you to all of you for making our evening so wonderful, we will definitely be back!!! Dave & Daniel thanks for your support through pre orders which changed a lot 🙈 you're stars and to the young man who served us who was on the ball all night, nothing was too much!!! 5* guys!!!!

Manager Vlad was very welcoming and witty.There were some issues of our making which he resolved quickly and efficiently.Excellent table service from staff in particular Tresca. Generous portions, best roast carrots I have ever had. The puddings were varied and tasty. Ginger cake, coconut ice cream and warm fresh pineapple was fantastic. Also original and varied vegetarian choices. Excellent value.Will come again.

Lovely pub with rooms. Great staff who are friendly, efficient and helpful. Great food and a place that does cheese and biscuits as well as some fab looking desserts. Good overnight stay. Requested a bigger bed if possible and was lucky enough to get it.

Popped in while travelling across country. Food was good and team were friendly. Our toddler loved doing laps around the bar area and all we had was smiles from the staff. Would recommend and will come back.
