Beautiful rooms with exceptional quality furnishings. Pub has a perfect mix of traditional old worlde charm with modern touches. The food was delicious. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again.

We're quite picky about ordering roasts out because we can often do better ourselves at home. Not in this case. The roast beef was outstanding! Friendly service and a lovely atmosphere, together with excellent food, made for a really enjoyable Sunday lunch. We'll be visiting again soon.UPDATE: Went back to the Harcourt Arms today and it didn't disappoint. Definitely a new favourite for Sunday roast 👍

Gorgeous place, very friendly welcome and stunning rooms. Lucky to receive an upgrade to the Blenheim suite as we were celebrating a birthday which was absolutely incredible. The building is very warm and homely, would definitely recommend a stay here. Food was very, very good and very well priced for Michelin standard. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Just come back from an amazing two night stay at The Harcourt Arms. From the minute we pulled up the pub looked super cosy and inviting. The room itself was so spacious, modern and beautifully decorated. We dined in the restaurant during our first evening and had a lovely meal. The breakfast was also great and had plenty of choice. Really couldn't criticise anything about our stay and definitely looking forward to returning at some point in the future.

What a wonderful place, situated in a sleepy village but close enough to civilisation! The welcome we reveived was excellent, and the room was beautiful, kitted out with high quality products which added to the boutique feel. We slept well and the room was silent all night. The food surpassed our expectations, the venison pie was genuinely the best I think I've ever had, breakfast was great too.A special mention must go to Ray, who took extra care with us considering we were there for a funeral, and he made the whole experience ten times better and made sure we left feeling positive.

When I first visited this place my thought was WOW! this is my kind of of pub, restaurant or a great place to stay.Since eating here my view's have changed completely. It's a Michelin star. So disappointed because there isn't a great choice of food on the menu however we gave them the benifit of the doubt. Food wasn't good to be honest.I went for something you can't really go wrong with, Fish & Chips, the chips were hard and could be snapped in half, awful and the fish batter wasn't crisp and golden but flat and white batter😝 not very appetizing. My husband ordered the duck and he had a slither of breast and had to pay extra £5 for a few new boiled potatoes. There were three cobwebs near where we were seated. The condiments...Pepper was empty, we asked for a jug of water but was given a old style bottle, I thought that's okay, we didn't think anymore of it but on the bill they charged £4Waiter was a friendly.Michelin star should be near perfect! We will not be returning unfortunately.

Great place to stay if you like a quiet retreat! Free upgrade to Blenheim suite was an added bonus! Polite staff who cannot do enough for you. Cannot fault it! Note: Restaurant not open Monday and Tuesday currently.

Really lovely stay at a beautifully restored country pub and hotel. Staff really attentive, clearly caring for their customers. The room was spacious, really clean and well presented. The restaurant was lovely with great nods to the traditional look in the new wing. Food was a very high standard for both dinner and breakfast. Managers were particularly attentive as we had to rush off the next morning as they very quickly prepared a breakfast for us to take away. Thank you so much, will definitely be coming back.
