The Hollybush in West Oxfordshire

We left Burford very hungry and in need of food but a dog friendly place !We came to the holly bush as it was nearby we just weren’t ready for how amazing the food was going to be. We all had the fixed lunch menu and WOW everything was just so flavourful and tasty. As a family we are real foodies so we know good food when we have it. Lastly very impressed by the service we received especially from Molly.Cannot recommend enough!

What a gem of a pub. Quite literally the best sunday roast I have ever had. We were seated in a love private dining hut, cosy and cute! Staff were excellent, food was outstanding! We shall definitely be back!

Fabulous Sunday lunch at this beautiful pub in the Cotswolds. The arancini was insanely good, we should have ordered more of it! The catch of the day was a chalk stream trout, lovely, the cockles were a cute addition to the plate. The roast lamb with trimmings including a fab Yorkshire pud was delicious too. I ate dessert alone and quite happily (& quickly) put away the brownies with honeycomb & caramel, without help from my partner! Highly recommend this dog friendly pub in Witney, really nice garden & private eating rooms out the back as well.Decent Bloody Mary did I mention that x

The whole experience from being escorted to our own private room for our party of 8 which made it very Covid safe the food is exceptional. We choose from the set menu (which was the exception as this normally only available Mon to Friday). It was so difficult to make a choice as each dish was mouth watering.If you never try this place you are missing a treat)

Cozy atmosphere with friendly staff. Prices are reasonable and food options are excellent.Celleriac pie and the vegetable Wellington were nice vegetarian options.

Great pub and lovely food with really nice staff. I was on my own on a Tuesday night after 8 but they were only too pleased to serve me. Would have given 5 stars but for the service charge on the bill which I didn’t notice until I had paid and gone. I would have given a tip anyway, and more than the service charge but, they shouldn’t be on the bill by default!

New chef, New exciting menu. The food was absolutely amazing, we loved our dining experience here at The Hollybush.We sat in the garden terrace to eat under a candlelit canopy.Lots of private dining huts and outside tables for dining and drinking.Great staff, interactive and attentive even when busy.Highly recommended place to eat in Witney, finally a smart, chic but relaxed restaurant comes to town!

Food and ambiance amazing. The staff were some of the best we have ever had esp for a pub. Really attentive, friendly, accommodating for our 20 month old, and dining there was the highlight of our day out of London. Such a treat!

The BEST roast dinner we have had in a long time. Great staff, very friendly front of house and it was all topped off with the best doughnuts we have ever eaten. Thank you for an amazing lunch!

Absolutely amazing. The pods are so cute and lovely to celebrate a special birthday in. Amazing food, wonderful staff. Can't wait to go again.
