The Kingham Plough Restaurant in West Oxfordshire

Very helpful team. Everyone genuinely wanted to give their best service. The meals were lovely and cooked and presented perfectly. Overall a very enjoyable experience and we will be looking forward to returning.

Great setting, great menu, great staff. Everybody is wonderful, super helpful and friendly and the menu selection is local and seasonal. Options take some new flair on old favorites and the bar selection is great. Their wine list is also good and very well priced. Would highly recommend if you're looking for just a pint or a full meal. Great parking and open patio in the back of you'd like some sun. Wood fire is running all day which makes for some beautiful aromas when sitting outside.

Nice setting and a great meal. Good variety on the menu too. 4 stars as I did feel the service was a touch slow despite the restaurant not being full.

A beautiful pub in a beautiful part of Cotswold. Good service and plenty of outdoor dining space to enjoy the sun albeit in the car park.Amazing quality meat used on the delicious filling burger which was truly a generous portion.The guava ice cream was simply delicious and still thought about

Had the pan roasted pork shoulder which was excellent. Prawns were on point and daughters burger also very good. Fresh chips and a decent bottle of wine made for a great meal.

I only stopped by for a pint. I had a Hook Norton brewery "Hooky" which was good.The place looks to be a great place to eat, though I can't vouch for that from experience. A good choice on the chalkboard menu. Lovely friendly staff

Amazing restaurant. Great fish and chips. So far the best in Britain. Friendly service. Helpful with recommendations and suggestions. Would highly recommend when in the area of Kingham.

Amazing Thursday family lunch. We had a seat next to an open fire, the service was fantastic and food really incredible. Oysters to start, a delicious fig and goats cheese salad followed by fish and a coconut and mango rice pudding. Could not fault it, definitely recommend and looking forward to returning.

Utterly excellent! The staff are warm, friendly and very attentive. The room (room 2) is quirky, clean and cottage-style. (Just wish the pillows were fuller, as 2 of them stacked on-top of each other still wasn't enough neck support).The meal was excellent - fresh oysters, delicious starters and main meal, cheeky deserts and then a stunningly good vegetarian full English in the morning.Highly recommended!

My wife and I had Sunday lunch here and it was superb. One of the best pub roasts I've had. We had roast beef and the Yorkshire pudding was filled with beef shin, incredible! The staff and service was friendly and attentive, and there was a great atmosphere in the pub. Would highly recommend eating here, and we will definitely be returning when next in the area.
