5 star for value and for the quality of the food. Friendly staff. This is not a glamour pub, but is a local rustic pub with a great local reputation for good and tasty food. Caters to families. We will be back and will bring family too.

Great !! Food and fabulous food and service . We had heartily recommended the gammon and fish and chips . We rang to see if we could bring the dogs into the garden . They reserved us a table in the garden complete with a dog water bowl . Free dog treat for each dog !! So thoughtful.

Great food and great service. Simple food done incredibly well. Beef and Guinness pie was a winner together with the cheesy chips. Thanks ♥️

Just enjoyed an excellent breakfast and cuppa. It's a really good way to start the weekend now autumn is here. Nice location , great little pub, highly recommended.

We've just had an amazing Christmas lunch here for the Royal British Legion and it was amazing, too reasonably priced! Yes it was worth every penny and more and the food was wonderful and loads of it. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience xxxx
