The Maytime Inn in West Oxfordshire

My husband and I booked a table here on a Tuesday evening and what we ate was exceptional. The food was really delicious, beautifully presented and we were also lucky enough to experience some live music (which apparently happens every Tuesday!)The dining area was inviting and cosy, perfect for date night or even a bigger friends/family affair.We will absolutely be coming back next time we visit Burford.

Lovely food, tap water charged £4.00 per bottle without notice and service charge (again without notice of 12.5%) Room nice however stench from sewage pit outside window was unbearable. The manager did move us to another room after complaint and breakfast was poor.

Charming Cotswold hamlet location,cosy and comfortable room, overlooking spacious garden. Welcoming and friendly staff,going out of their way to make a small birthday presentation after dinner - which was well cooked and presented. Super invigorating, cascading waterfall, morning shower, to get the day moving! All in all a great stay, just the ticket for a hideaway break,to get some downtime and the chance to discover the lovely Cotswold surroundings.

Excellent service, made us feel very welcome. Harry who looked after us was fantastic. Breakfast was so good, would definitely recommend.

We stayed for two nights and the experience could not have been better. The staff are wonderful and so welcoming, the accommodation and food were great too. It is set in the most perfect position. We would love to come back soon.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Staff very friendly and professional, will certainly stay there again. Would be great if they offered mid week 2 night dinner, bed and breakfast breaks.

Great food and friendly service.Sadly an unusually quiet night in the run up to Christmas more than likely due to the Omicron fear. Normally much busier and harder to get a booking for! Food great as usual! Now with Clarksons Hawkstone Lager!

An absolute delight from start to finish. We had 3 lovely nights, 3 amazing breakfasts and 2 wonderful evenings of wining and dining! Breakfast was definitely the star of the show for us, so nice to see breakfast treated as an event rather than an add on.Looking forward to returning. Thank you all at the Maytime for making our stay so memorable!

Outstanding Inn. Perfect cosy room looking onto the garden. Beautiful beer garden/dining area in the sunshine. Delicious food! We ate there x3 nights because it was so amazing! The most beautiful village and surrounding walks and area. We will definitely be back! We travelled from Yorkshire and it was well worth the journey.

Really nice and friendly atmosphere with nice, attentive and friendly staff. Food was glorious. Had a lovely meal with friends there and the atmosphere and staff made it even better, you weren't rushed for your order but they were attentive enough that plates weren't left for long on table. Would absolutely go there again
