The Old Court Hotel Restaurant in West Oxfordshire

Very clean, delicious evening meal. Deserves more customers. Don't be put off by external appearance. Very polite and friendly service.

Rooms OK, could do with updating, especially the bathroom which had a sharp corner on the bath panel and cut my foot! Altro flooring very old. Curry was fantastic, plenty of it and good quality, breakfast also good.

We stayed for 2 nights. The staff were brilliant and very helpful and friendly. Curry meal was fantastic. And full English breakfast was excellent. Room very clean and comfortable. Would definatley stay again .

Never stayed in the hotel but a nice lounge like room to sit and have a beer or wine. Feels welcoming.Food here has been very good too on the two or three occasions I've ordered.

So disappointed to find this hotel would not allow a refund with 5 full days notice. The booking was made as part of a business trip which has now been cancelled due to Covid. Annoyingly we booked it through hotels.com which seems to be a total scam and emails bounce back and its impossible to get in touch with anyone. We approached the hotel hoping that they would understand the situation in a global pandemic and that as a business we can't afford to loose the money taken for a hotel stay we cannot use.. They have refused to cancel the booking as they have paid commission to hotels.com even when we said a partial refund would be acceptable. It seems they are capitalizing off an extremely unrepeatable hotel booking site (which I wish I done more research on as we would have never have booked in the first place). It's sad to see how fellow businesses treat others during this difficult time.

My husband and I have stayed in the Old Court Hotel for the last 6 days. The service was excellent and the bedroom very clean. My husband has health problems, the staff have been so very kind . The food has been excellent and beautifully served. We would highly recommend that you try the delicious Nepalese dishes

This is not a hotel, it is a restaurant with outhouses, that are not fit for families. Maybe people backpacking might be happy to lie their head down here, but definitely not luxury.The walls were saturated with water and damp, the rooms were dark, with bulky furniture. As bits were missing from the bed we bruised ourselves several times.Bathroom was in bad need of repair, old rugs on floor, brown throws over bed and holes in the roof.. My 5 year old son leaned against the wall and it caved in.. Staff were very friendly, and would do well as a restaurant, but not for accommodation..

Very friendly & helpful staff nothing too much trouble. Food excellent. Bedrooms just need some minor upgrading, but on saying that the current owners have only had the hotel for a year. However very comfortable beds.
