Brilliant guys in the kitchen, while the BBQ master understood no joke showing up 10 minutes post end of Time- the guys inside saw the hunger in my eyes and delivered - see picture

Love coming here first thing in the morning for coffee while it’s quiet. Staff are always so friendly yet professional. Cosy fires in the winter.

Had lunch here on a weekday in April. First time I have been and will definitely go again. Busy but not packed, service was faultless. Flagstone floors, exposed bricks and beams - lots of character with modern twists here and there. Larger, airy main dining area accessed from the bar down a couple of steps. Plenty of outdoor seating too.We ate in the bar area and I did find this menu a bit limited for things I liked, as rabbit and tinned sardines not for me so opted for the fish goujons with chips which were very good.Lovely setting in the middle of the village. Some car parking spaces down the side and here and there on the road but on driving through I came to a free, public car park on the edge of the village with country views which is only a four minute walk away. Gave me a chance to walk past the pretty houses too back to the pub.

Really disappointing service. Quite grumpy staff, asked twice for a water bowl for our puppy and each time they had a disgruntled response and never brought it out in the end. Also Asked for a glass of tap water which was received badly and never brought out. Overall disappointing service and slightly above average food, albeit small portions. There are better pubs in kingham.

The staff are fantastic! They all clearly love what they do and work well together, the level of service is attentive but not overbearing. Special mention goes to Poppy. We'll definitely come back.

Why was it excellent... Welcomed warmly after getting out of London for the day, we were then served some truly fabulous food accompanied with excellent wine and fizz.. the starters alone were an explosion of flavours. Is it cheap?..No and I didn't mind paying for food I would never get to eat in any usual chain or restaurant, to this level of cusine, taste and presentation a delight.. well done guys!..

We absolutely love coming here for a meal, or simply for a drink in the evening. The setting is stunning; the large, open dining area is beautifully decorated and has a real charm to it. There are open fires throughout - great for winter time - but it feels equally as special in the summertime. We've gone for the chateaubriand beef a couple of times and it's been absolutely exquisite; cooked beautifully and accompanied by all of the trimmings that you'd hope for.The menu is always very well thought out and offers great variety. We've also tried the tasting menu too, which was really memorable. The cheeses, desserts, wines are all fantastic. Everything is of a great quality and I don't really think that you can go far wrong in spite of what you order. The staff at the Wild Rabbit are always very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. They provide service with an elegance and subtlety that is expertly paired with a real warmth, too.I'd definitely recommend a visit to The Wild Rabbit.American Express is accepted 💳✅
