Our first visit to the Windrush Inn with our family who live locally. Delightful to see that this establishment takes food and customer service seriously. Friendly, attentive and efficient staff. All requests were handled in a professional manner. Quality of food was excellent. When you order a simple dish such as chicken wings and it comes out as it did here at the Windrush Inn it makes your whole lunch experience so much more pleasant. Because you can tell that whoever is in the kitchen as the head chef has actually good knowledge of food. We'll definitely eat here again.

We had a lovely evening celebrating my 40th birthday, the staff were all fantastic and Sam on the carvery was so attentive and made the children smile when they were crying.I would highly recommend the windrush to anyone looking for a group booking or a quiet meal. It really was fantastic

I have been going to this pub since I was little and to say my last 2 visits today and 2 weeks ago been bit unsuccessful. 2 weeks ago had a baby shower for my nice even though my sister asked the day before could she come early and set up was told yes that's no problem to find when we got there she been waiting for hour to set up to be told by the manger quiet rude saying she can't give the table hour early to set up as she could used that table for other customers and have turned away customers I get her point but she didn't need to be so rude.then today for an engagement party for not enough table as 1 broke to be given 2 tables from outside that were soaking wet and a bar table the food was amazing service was slow all in all won't be back for a little whileContinue so I rang the pub today to try out my point across first all I spoke to Amanda and couldn't get a word in of why I wrote this then spoke to the manger to basically be be shouted at and told how I should think about how I've made them feel how about I wouldn't written this if things were perfect EVERYONE is allowed there opinion and are allowed to post on social media after this conversation I will Not be going backTHERE IS 2 SIDES TO EVERY STORY and this is my piintof view others from the event may "enjoyed it"

The food here is great if you love your grill, burgers and other well crafted pub grubs offerings. There are some great salads, though my favourite is the steaks.I have been here twice, the staff and pub animals are always lovely, I wish there were more cider offerings but its not in vogue right now as understandable.Come here if you love good wines, a clean sophisticated dining area and great food.

I have been to this pub many times and I have to say the service has always been extremely friendly, warm and well managed. I don't know names so please forgive me, the manger(landlady) is an organised goddess. What a fabulous warm atmosphere with a fantastic team who are clearly managed and supervised fantastically.Sunday carvery day is such a lovely way to spend your day. What a beautiful, tasty and fulfilling meal you receive. The staff are amazing and the chefs cook a great menu. I will be back. I cant wait. Thank you. Cara

Recommend the carvery to any and all meat eaters out there, the food was gorgeous and the staff were lovely! The pub itself is warm and welcoming with very pretty views behind it. Have been a few times now and will definitely be going again!

Ordered a Christmas meal to save cooking for 2, picked up Christmas eve (and was already ready even though I was early) and had a lovely pint. Excellent food and service. Have had lots of Sunday lunches to takeaway away through lockdowns and couldn't fault any of them! Brilliant place if you are passing by or a local. 100% recommended !Thanks Mia and Jeremy

The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, the food is first class. I had the butchers block and it was cooked beautifully. The staff were attentive but not overbearing. I strongly recommend the windrush inn.
