Amazing food and an amazing place! A cosy little pub on the inside with a fabulous outside area with the option of shelter in an delightfully decorated conservatory! I was so caught up enjoying the food I only took a picture of my new favourite beverage!

Great local restaurant in a cosy pub. Vegan options aren't on the menu but had a great starter, main and dessert of amazing flavours and left feeling full and well looked after.

Just the most fabulous, atmospheric, friendly and enjoyable gastropub for many miles around. The food is very well executed - traditional rather than boundary-pushing - but consistently well-executed. Service was unfailingly friendly, though a slightly frustrating wait for the bill. The dining room is beautiful and oozes character. Hugely impressed, and can't wait to return.

Brilliant find today. Beautiful building and interior (think Hogwarts!) and the food is sensational. Highly recommend the trout starter, the bream which is cooked to perfection with the most incredible side of gnocchi and fusion salad and definitely give the rhubarb egg custard or the cheese board a go.

The food is unique and delicious, the place is warm and cosy. They have lit candles in the evening and lovely outdoor seating which is fantastic during summertime. The staff are attentive and friendly, they clearly hold a high standard for quality when it comes to both hygiene and food.I highly recommend this place for anyone for anything.A nice treat for yourself? The staff will make you feel right at home.Date for two? A romantic candle lit dinner with a variety of stunning wines to choose from.Family get together? No better place to go, plenty of seating, a homely setting and calm atmosphere.

The staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating, and the food was absolutely delicious! We had the Sunday roast (beef), which was the best roast dinner I've had out. The sticky toffee pudding was also amazing.

good food and value set lunch (£23 for 3 course). very cosy and nice interiors. worth a try:)

I absolutely love this place! One of the best Sunday roasts ever - tender beef, amazing trimmings married in gravy bursting with umami.Literally come here religiously every week. Would recommend to everyone!AND do not skip pudding!

This is my favourite places to eat. Staff and surrounds lovely. The only downside that there isn't a disabled toilet but I was warned about it before I booked. I can't praise the food enough and very good value for money.

We're not the biggest fans of the traditional Sunday Roast so when we find somewhere that can take it to the next level we get a table booked sharpish...We went for the three course menu and couldn't fault any of the six dishes enjoyed between us. Each course displayed subtle contemporary twists and beautiful attention to detail that made it an instant classic and added to a fantastic meal experience overall.Recently crowned by The Independent and Sawdays as one of the Top 50 pubs in England to visit post-lockdown... and we can see why. The food is amazing, the service friendly, and the atmosphere incredible... a definite recommendation.
