Food is good, although older version with smaller chunks of meat was better.Website lets you pre-order for 1655 then when you call they say restaurant delivery from 1730!Fix that please. I got my order at 1745 not funny

We ordered the delivery for two and half an hour, and had three phone calls to the restaurant. Everytime they are saying it’s on the way of delivering. The last phone call they made excuses saying that the internet has sort of connection error, while in the second call they said it’s going to be five minutes until it is delivered. And the their service attitude is astonishing, the woman who picked up the phone call literally said ‘our driver boy is busy, you know.’ And the man is literally arguing with me. The food probably wasn’t even started cooking because that man literally readily offered us a refund. What a joke. Hope this restaurant goes bankrupt soon.

Food ordered to be left on doorstep and doorbell to be rung. Waiting time was 75 minutes. By chance I opened our front door after approximately 1 hour to find the order on the doorstep, our doorbell had not be rung and no sign of the delivery driver. The food was barely lukewarm, the naan like rubber. I phoned Balaka and was told that the person would investigate with the delivery driver and get back to me. I am still waiting for a call over 24 hours later. Very disappointing all around and not what was hoped for as a Father's Day treat.

Lovely customer service and knowledgeable staff. Delicious pasanda and naan bread. My only gripe is that it's a bit expensive, especially for the vegetarian options.

Gave Balaka yet another chance hoping that they may have improved after several disappointments. Nope. They delivered the wrong dishes and I was then told by an aggressive and rude employee that they would make the dishes I was missing and deliver in 15 minutes (from past experience I know that means 30 minutes at best). They didn’t seem to mind that that would mean the rest of the food would be cold. The employee refused to let me speak to a manager and told me I would have to wait for my food and I could complain as much as I liked.Do yourself a favour and give them a very wide berth.

Quite possibly the best curry in Winchester. Cheaper than the city centre Indian restaurants. Brilliant family feel and fantastic food. Interesting menu with some unique dishes alongside the usual classics.
