Very friendly welcome from staff . Happy to check with the kitchen ingredients for an allergy sufferer . Bit of a wait for food but it was very busy. Food was very nice and plenty of it . Very attentive to our needs despite the busyness. Dessert was extremely nice 👍 worth a visit if you're passing. Plenty of parking out the back so had no problem finding a space. Will definitely recommend and definitely visit again.

Hubby and I popped on for an early dinner. Very prompt service..friendly staff. Good hearty pub food at reasonable prices. Good ale! We will return:)

A very welcoming pub. The food was superb, with the menu helpfully offering a wide range of food, each choice with its calorific value. We were not in any rush so the slow service didn't concern us. Would definitely recommend this pub.

We joined two friends for lunch here. The menu was extensive with veggie options, and our food was very good. The staff were polite and helpful. A pleasant, relaxed dining experience. Only (minor) downside was the noisy coffee machine used occasionally.

The Cart and Horses is an excellent venue for both dining and drinking. An atmospheric ambience, friendly and efficient service. I have always had a good evening whenever I have gone there and it seems that everyone else is happy too. I would highly recommend it.

This is a nice, quiet pub with a comforting atmosphere. The food was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed everything except for the mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were very unpleasant and is the sole reason behind the 4 stars. Would recommend anybody to make a visit as we will be returning again.

Superb! Wide range of options, great price, very tasty meal and excellent service from friendly staff👌🏾 I had the fillet steak with steak Diane sauce. It was delicious, really lovely bit of beef. Ate all of it and wasn't that hungry!

Great friendly service and tasty food with generous portions! Definitely recommend the Sunday roast (lamb was very good) and the beef and ale pie.

We booked into the pub as a large group, The pub was so helpful and accommodating. We just had to email in With our choices. Once there service was good, food was brought out quickly, came back to check on how we were, if drinks were needed ect.There was a good choice of food, and the meal we had was really tasty. Would definitely recommend, and if in the area again, will definitely go back.

Excellent food and friendly service. Not your usual Greene king but a nicer posher version, but still at a great price that doesn't leave a bitter taste in your mouth. Will be returning without doubt.
