Coffee Lab in Winchester

Popped in after a heavy gym session as I am a member of Energy and was barely acknowledged by the serving staff. Thought she was very rude and needs a lesson in customer service. Off putting really, unlikely to go back.

My takeaway long black coffee wasn't good. It lacked depth and flavour with a slightly sour aftertaste. Served in a small cup, it was overfilled and spilled everywhere when I opened it. This is the second time in a row I've had a disappointing coffee here so we won't be returning.

Good coffee, great spot, nice atmosphere, spacious. All you need. Not quite enough wow factor on the coffee front for 5 stars, flat white was top notch, cortado left me wanting

I love this place - close to the town centre and my favourite coffee in town. They’ve recently expanded into a larger space - and CL always feels spacious - even when busy.Not too far from its sister cafe, The Square, it has a completely different feel: I’d advise this cafe for a coffee and 🥐 or 🍰- and I tend to visit The Square for lunch.

Terrible! So disappointed I had to leave a review. Table dirty, dirty glasses and cups stacked all around where we were sitting. Coffee took ages to come, came to us in takeaway cups with no explanation. We had to ask why and were told they’d run out of cups! Didn’t get the coffee I ordered so it had to be made again, no apology as if I’d made the mistake when ordering. When my replacement came it was disappointing and luke warm. If you’re going to call yourself coffee lab academy and charge those prices you’d expect the coffee to be top notch! Not worth the money and wish we’d gone elsewhere, won’t be returning!

Its Great Coffee!!The best around I reckon, my go to place! Sometimes we visit Winchester for just a walk around and their coffee!Cakes are good as well, sandwiches look lovely, but they push my budget a bit far.😋😋

Nicest tasting coffee in Winchester, but wow it's slow. Went Saturday morning, seating about half full. Ordered a coffee, a hot chocolate for the little one and a rocky road. 17minutes waiting, standing in the doorway, to receive a lukewarm coffee, a scalding hot chocolate and a totally stale and soggy cake.The smaller venue now closed around the corner was much better, this place is style over substance and really needs to work on speed of service and consistency in quality.

Had a lovely coffee here on my visit to Winchester. It was busy Saturday lunchtime but I managed to find a table which was cleaned straight away for me. The decaf coffee was amazing. I also had a citrus morning bun which was very fresh, flaky and delicious. Highly recommended!

Loved that the tea I ordered was brewed in the cup, rather than having a tea bag. Nice atmosphere, although might be a little too dark for some. Very nice and cool on a hot day though.

Really enjoyed the cinnamon bun, a flat white and a ginger beer. Both doors open so it felt nice and airy inside. Great service.
