Cote Brasserie - Winchester in Winchester

Calamari rubbery and returned. Replaced with very tasty but small portion of crab Maison. Tuna ok although a little too well done. Staff very pleasant.

Table of 12 sat in a window with sun streaming in and our party got very hot. The staff were unable to put a/c on, but with permission opened a door close to our party. Food was good.

Amazing food, such great service and deliciously exquisite cocktails. Had a small pre-birthday celebration and couldn't have had a better evening. Will definitely come back here again.

We ate early on Saturday night and had fabulous service and a delicious meal. Very impressed by their effortless handling of allergies; I can’t tell you how much worry it gives me to eat out, but at Cote they don’t make you an exception, they ask everyone about allergies. And they don’t forget either, the food has a flag to tell you that everyone in the chain knew of your requirements and when the dessert menu came out, without fuss I was handed the clearly marked menu just with things that I can eat. Plus, the food was fantastic.

Had a lovely meal and the staff were friendly and helpful. Food was great and, importantly as it was a weekday lunch, quick to arrive after ordering. I've been here a few times and never once been disappointed.

Manager went out if his way to find us a table on a busy Saturday. Excellent breakfast and attentive staff. Would recommend.

Boxing day visit and everything was first class!! Staff were lovely and food was absolutely amazing!! Very reasonablely price for the quality we received. More than happy to come back, and will definitely be visiting our local Cote's as we were only visiting Winchester.

We were greeted on door and sat at our table. Service was very slow we waited over 20 mins to order drinks and a further 20 minutes to order our food. Starters were good calamari and a beetroot salad. When the mains did come they were cold and looked like they'd been sat on the hot plate for a long time. We said to the manager who did send them back and ask for them to be cooked again. His attitude was poor as he was blaming the busy Christmas parties for the mistake, understand its a busy time of the year but if they had told us when we sat down that there was going to be a delay due to the Christmas parties that would have been fine.We received our meals again and this time they were fresh and hot. Decide against dessert as had enough for this night!The waiter did comp our drinks which was nice of them. I would visit again just not at Christmas!

Had a lovely evening here on Tuesday celebrating my birthday. The ideal restaurant for a date night also! Very nicely lit and spaced-out seating. The service was amazing - very prompt and polite. We enjoyed the house wine, confit pork belly, praline crepe and chocolate & salted caramel tart (really recommend this to anyone vegan!).As someone that's struggled waiting tables in the past, I really liked that one member of staff helps another to serve the food at the table - it was a really nice touch. I enjoyed the music as well! So overall, it was perfect.
