Dim T in Winchester

Popped in for early, pre-cinema supper and was not disappointed. The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and charming. The dim sum was sublime, I had prawn and scallop. My companion’s fire cracker cauliflower was so good we ordered another to share. I recommend the Korean fried chicken, just spicy enough. I’ll definitely be returning, I’m on a mission to try the entire menu. Really fun, buzzy place…love the interior design too. Really highly recommend a visit.

Had a lovely time here on Monday evening.The food was fantastic and the service was faultless. Our host Phoenix was welcoming and attentive and made the evening even more enjoyable.Was shocked when the bill came at how cheap it was, would of been more happy to of paid a lot more for food and service of that standard we received.If I ever go back to Winchester I would definitely be eating here again.

Time passes as does quality and, standards... ordered the Thai Green Curry with prawns £11:25 which bought me 6 small prawns! When I raised this the waitress checked and admitted that here should have been 8 small prawns and replace my meal which I appreciated but, this only lowered the cost of the dish to £1:40 per prawn. Not the Dim T of old! A post COVID revisionist version of a once enjoyable restaurant..

Food was absolutely lush! Had dim- sams: prawn & chives and spicy prawn - both orders very delicious. Tip for dim-sams is to take them out of the steam pot and separate from paper asap! We left ours in a pot while finishing our soups and paper stuck, however manager took those and replaced with fresh ones.Tom yum prawn soup and tofu miso ramen - again both orders were so flavoursome! Overall service and the food are great, will definitely go back!

We always choose to dine in Dim T whenever we're in Winchester primarily to it's location which is just a stone throw away from the city centre. Food quality is also good (I'm an asian) but I would say they are not 100% authentic which is understandable because they have to adjust the taste for the costumers. The ambiance is relaxed which is what you need after a tiring day of activities. Products are also well-priced and is more on the affordable side.Must try: Ramen (any), Pad Thai, and Char Shiu buns

Haven't been in for a while. Service slow, intermittent items missing during the meal. Portions really quite small - not how I remember it here. We had sweets to fill up with. That's unusual for our group.My Korean fried chicken was moderately cool and fairly uninspiring. The firecracker prawns were said to be great.Overall a mediocre experience.

Excellent food and service. We went for the set Xmas meal and none of us were disappointed. Nearly had to roll home!

Lovely place with very friendly staff. Great for dinner. Quite empty around 18:30, so great time. Would recommend the sweet and sour chicken with steamed rice or the lemon chicken. Both great!
