"The Fox reopened in November 2018 after an extensive 2 year refurbishment and extension. An 18th Century Inn that was remodelled in the early 1900’s in the arts and craft era. It has 5 luxury bedroom suites, a large, but cosy bar and two restaurants. It also has outside seating and outside cooking for upto 100 more guests. It is the destination location in the Winchester area and boasts local ales, craft IPA’s & over 50 Gins. The food is fresh, only local and cooked by our award winning Chef team. From the perfect Salt Beef Ruben Sandwich to Roasted Turbot on the bone, it has something for everyone. Roaring fires, dog friendly."

A good local pub. I'd say, more of a drinkers pub than food, but I liked the way that there is a seperate "conservatory" area to eat in. Solid burger, nice ribs and gammon. V friendly staff.

Really impressed with the staff and service. We were able to drop in unbooked on a Sunday afternoon for a roast dinner and everyone looked after us well. They went above and beyond for our toddler and brought out an extra plate of food which we hadn't ordered in case he wanted it, (which he did). Thank you, we'll be back!

A nice quite pub, with a good range of food from steak pie to burgers and much more, friendly staff and reasonable prices. Would recommend if you are in the area and need a good meal.

Only came in for coffee and tea, but the pub has a lot of parking spaces, all lit up. Decor is alright, with a pool table in the back. There is a great forested area to the back of the pub, great for a walk and then back to the pub for a pint.

We visited this really lovely pub on a Saturday afternoon and were greeted with a warm welcome from friendly staff.The menu is varied with something for everyone, the food is freshly cooked and delicious as are coffees, the prices are honest and realistic and we felt we got real value for money.We will definitely be returning. 5*+ for friendly staff, food, value and the lovely warm relaxed atmosphere, we loved it!
