Jade's Garden in Winchester

If i could give no stars i would ! We waited 2 hours for our food , it turned up with things missing and we were told we could have a free dish next time ! That doesn't exactly help this evening. Our noodles were over cooked and slimey, our beef with green peppers was 80% liquid and onions , our chips were raw. Absolutely disgusting, will not be using them again!

Terrible food delivered at 5:45pm despite asking for it to be delivered after 7pm. Dreadful.

Special curry had very little meat and no shrimps. Extremely salty. Took almost 90 minutes to arrive.I was charged 3 pounds for rice but I see now it should come free with boiled rice.I have been eating in this takeaway since I was a very young child.I will never eat here again. Shame on you.

Very delicious food. The service is also very attentive, the attitude is very good, it is really a pleasant way to dine

Best take away in Winchester, been here for years, always had good service and excellent food. Perhaps that's why it's still going😊. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed 😊

Ordered from jade garden tonight and after waiting over an hour for it to arrive I really shouldn't have bothered wasting my money.The sweet and sour chicken balls were raw and batter was all slimy and greasy. The egg fried rice and chips were also SWIMMING in grease. The sweet and sour sauce was like water and to be honest after a mouthful I felt sick and threw it in the bin.Phoned up to complain and they aren't even bothered.DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY BY ORDERING FROM THEM.FIRST TIME TRYING JADE GARDEN CHINESE AND WILL DEFIANTLY BE MY LAST. WORST CHINESE I HAVE EVER TASTED!!

Will never go anywhere else for Chinese food unless it's actually to China. 😆 always gets here fast and still really hot . Staff are really helpful and happy . Never had a problem with any of the food. I love the sauces they are so flavoursome and not "powdery" , and they have the best crispy shredded chilli beef .

Ordered this on a Saturday night as a bit of a 'treat' as we're generally in to home cooking, good flavours and when we get take away, it's usually Indian from Light of Bengal. So, we spent £25 at Jade Garden on the following:1. Kung Po King Prawns - standard dark red rich sauce, full of MSG and sugar, with a few cashew nuts thrown in. However, the 'prawns' were awful. After opening one up and investigating we realised the prawns were actually mechanically reclaimed fish with some synthetic prawn flavouring!!!2. Tofu in sweet n sour sauce, which on the whole was inedible due to overcooking of the tofu. There was no soft inner tofu remaining and we were presented with a hard chewy deep fried chunks of tofu that went straight in the bin.3. Chicken in satay sauce, which although was cooked well and the chicken remained succulent the sauce tasted like it was out of a (cheap) packet and was actually a little sickly - no signs of ANY fresh peanuts either to make the sauce or thrown in for good measure!4. Duck and pancake rolls - this was actually good and the duck was flavoursome and shredded well for us as requested.We were provided with some complementary (mini) spring rolls, which were essentially chunks of batter with a slither of frozen vegetable inside.Sorry Jade Garden, but we will NEVER order from you again.
