Very good food and service although the place can get a bit noisy. Dogs are welcome

Good community pub! We arrived on a Thursday at lunch time and the welcome was friendly. We loved the Steak Club offers and been tempted by the pub classic offers as well. Still we went for steak and the steak was good. The prices are reasonable also. We liked the cosy atmosphere and the friendly staff. One place we would happily recommend.

Went to the jolly farmer for my daughters 26th birthday, when booking the table for 13 we waited two days for it to b confirmed, we had to pre order our food and table was booked for 7.30, we waited 45 minutes for our food to be served and it wasn't great, my gammon was lovely but the egg wasn't cooked it was very what I would say snotty I couldn't eat my eggs, my chips were over cooked and basically was a tad disappointed, my husband steak and ale pie was tough to cut into, my grandsons pizza was a bit hard he wouldn't eat it, the puddings I can say were delicious no problems everyone seemed to enjoy them, one waitress and the man behind the bar in my opinion wasn't enough when u have table bookings should make sure there is always enough staff on, iv been to the jolly farmer many times for important family celebrations but now I feel with the standard of the food served Im wondering whether its worth going back which is awful as iv always loved the food at the jolly farmer as have my family,

Chain pub we went to for dinner. It's standard chain pub food but good for a quick cheap dinner. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Booked online for lunch on a Saturday, the table was ready and waiting with my name on it even though we arrived a bit early. Great menu with lots of choice, it was hard to choose what to have. The portions were generous and the food was very tasty (I had the chicken katsu curry, on the recommendation of the waiter). The staff were very friendly, we liked the low-key Christmas decorations too. We'll definitely come back next time we're visiting family in Winchester.

Came in for a Sunday roast after waiting just under an hour for it to arrive in front of us to be greeted with dry and cold meat drowned in gravy and burnt to a crisp Yorkshire and roast potatoes, and the portions size little to nothing, followed by another 50 minute wait for are dessert in my opinion isn’t acceptable lovely little pub and amazing for a pop in drink but unfortunately food wise I am not taken
