Great food, lovely staff couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommend

The Korma and Passanda we had delivered were very watery, and not to the standard we expected. My partner also had stomach pain a few hours later.

Phenomenal food, and a beautiful atmosphere. We were given excellent suggestions for food and drink, and devoured the lot of it. It was a truly enjoyable evening, and I would not want to go anywhere else in Winchester.

Ordered Naga curry, garlic rice and garlic naan. The Naga was advertised as very spicy but it was mild spicy. The garlic rice is an interesting twist with pickled garlic. Not my favourite but I appeciate the twist. The garlic naan is the winner. Delicious

My first time trying a curry from here, and the service from the guys when I collected was great, they were really attentive. Then I got home & found glass in my curry, I’d bitten into it too which luckily didn’t end worse, I then called them and said I’d found glass and requested a refundHe said there was no chance I’d found it in his food because they don’t have any glass lying around, I said I had found it in the food and again requested a refund, he just kept saying there was no chance it came from themReally disappointing and won’t be trying again.

Really enjoyed. We recieved a warm welcome and enjoyed excellent service. The food was of high quality and freshly cooked. Good value at £58 for two. We even recieved a free festive season Baileys at the end of the night. Highly recommended

After reading some positive reviews, I went there with my partner on the weekend but unfortunately our experience was the opposite. We ordered several dishes and the food tasted mediocre. Our bill also came with an added 12% for service which was a surprise because when we asked for some tissues they pointed towards a little bench near the front door and asked us to help ourselves. We won't be going there any time soon!

I ordered some modhu chicken kinda of sweet chicken which I didn't know will be too sweet for my taste. The chef was so kind that he gave me spicy chicken curry instead of sweet chicken. I was very much pleased with his gesture.

We ordered through uber eats, and there were a couple of issues with the app, we eventually put the order through successfully, after two attempted orders. Then we got the updates from the app as usual i.e. your order is being processed, your order is ready to be collected by a driver... It never turned up so we gave them a call, and they decided not to prepare the order, even though I was charged? I had to call Uber to sort this out, and we didn't get any food - big waste of time. The manager actually hung up on me, after telling me I'd wasted their time with the previous orders (the two orders previously were cancelled within a minute apart and we were actually scheduling an order for two hours later) doubt in those precious minuets they had made any food)Uber told us the restaurant would need to refund us, as it had already been billed, and the manager said that wasn't the case, and they could not issue a refund.Five minuets later I got a notification to say the restaurant has refunded us.Horrible experience.

A great little place for Indian food in Winchester. Great variety on the menu, efficient service and authentic taste. The regular Indian fair is pretty authentic. You must try their specialties though. Prawn poori is a delicate dish of prawns in a tomato gravy served on a poori, balanced very well for the palette. The meat samosas are good too. In the mains, you must try their Balti dishes, available in your choice of chicken, lamb or prawn. The house special is chicken and lamb balti which we loved. You must also try the Dhansak dishes. It was one of the best we have had in a restaurant! Dhansak is a Parsi traditional dish where the meat is cooked with lentils and vegetables. Traditionally it's mutton dish, but you can get chicken or prawn Dhansak here as well. All in all, a must visit Indian restaurant in Winchester!!
