Marks & Spencer Cafe in Winchester

A bit busy with hat fair and not had decaf teabags for a few days but other than can't fault this sparks.

As it turns out the cafe can only provide coffees in small cups and if you want a filter you have to pay the same as other stores but get way less coffee for your money. No wonder it’s always deserted . Good luck if you want something in particular as chances are they haven’t restocked since yesterday.I’m yet another regular customer that is abandoning ship!

Very clean, tidy store. Lots of selection and very tasty. Self service machines are very useful if you're only buying a few bits. Good location and a decent amount of parking.

Avoid it’s not worth the wait! How very disappointed we were having to wait 40 minutes to be served, staff couldn’t care less no apology no polite conversation, just rude. No napkins, I had to ask for one, bacon was so salty and over cooked. Waste of money. Doesn’t really deserve 1 star but had to give that to give the review! I won’t ever go back. The place needs a proper manager not just young school kids who don’t care. Marks and Spencers you need to sort this out.

This isn't a review about the store in general, but about one of the staff members, Ian (maybe Iain). He is genuinely one of the happiest, most knowledgeable, helpful people I have ever encountered. He appears to go above and beyond with all of the customers (many of which he now knows by name!) and is truly an asset to the company.I hope this review reaches one of the management team as I truly believe that he deserves recognition for all of his hard work.

didn’t enjoy my experience at all except when chatting to the lovely young man in the cafe. Extra good service from him. Can’t remember his name but he had his hair in a bun and a beard. He did good coffee art too. Not impressed with the main store however. Too crowded.

What a Sad, No Character store that offers nothing other than there food store, the food is always good. The Cafe lacked any choice and was totally un-inviting.There was No Atmosphere in the store and the staff completely lacked any connection with its customers. I really want to say Well Done M&S but you need to do something as you are going to continue the downward path like your escalators.

Good range of clothes and food, well organised layout. Staff were pleasantly patient as our daughter tantrumed and ran off down the aisles before we scooped her up and dragged her out...eugh

Everything is crammed into a shop that's too small for purpose. It's like shop in someone over crowded wardrobe (mine in fact ) The cafe is like the 7.45 am buffet carriage to Paddington. There's only one toilet + one disabled one. There's a longer queue for these than at Wembley Stadium. Feel sorry for the staff.
