Not impressed I'm afraid. We visited Winchester for 2 nights, we stayed in on the first night & ordered food for delivery. Chicken noodles, prawn crackers, curry sauce & 2 cans of coke. I was told delivery would be approx 1 hour. An hour & 40 minutes later, the delivery arrived. Minus the crackers & minus the 2x cans. The curry sauce was so greasy, the oil was floating on top & I couldn't stomach it. I received a call apologising for the missing items, they would be with me very soon. The chow mein was tasty, albeit quite greasy. The crackers & pop had still not arrived (as it turned out, I could've walked there within 5 minutes of where were staying!). I called to cancel the missing items & asked for a refund on those, hopefully this will come through even though the driver still turned up, argued with me to take the items & ended up leaving them on the doorstep!

Best Chinese I have had for ages. Lovely food and friendly staff. Thank you!

On our arrival found our table that was booked had been given away to someone else by the manager, very slow service, phone continuously ringing with answer phone cutting in, maybe could be moved to bar area so it could be answered , short of staff and staff didn’t appear happy no smiles , tables far too close to each other, when the food arrived it was nice but not the evening I had planned for my hubbys birthday, very disappointed 😡

Be patient. When the food arrives it is tasty and filling. The 2 course lunch is good value for money, but you may be unlucky with the speed of service if you come in just after a family of 5!

It has potential to be a reasonably good chinese but failed for a few reasons. The service was non existent: there was no one present to take you to a table. Thereafter, drinks and food orders were alow to be taken and food and drinks then arrived with a considerable delay. A neighbouring table didn't get cleaned after guests had left for over an hour. Aesthetically, they need to solve the damp problem, the flooded basement toilets and address the issue of the telephone constantly ringing loudly with no-one answering it. It's usually the case that you go to restaurant for an improved level of service over obtaining a takeaway and to pay a premium for that. In this case I would suggest just having the takeaway. To be fair although nothing to write home about the food was reasonable.

Stopped for lunch and had the 2 courses for £8.95 deal which was good value. Service was fine and enjoyed the visit.

Noodles is typically oily. Recommend to order rice instead. Fried dishes done with oil that maybe reused several times such that the prawn fritters is dark colored.

Great decor, nice atmosphere, helpful and caring staff, although waiting time for the main dish was a litlle bit too long (slightly over one hour). Nevertheless, it was worth waiting, as the food was really tasty (I can speak for the tofu and shrimp soup, noodles with pork&shrimp and noodles with smoked tofu, king shrimps and chilli pepper) and free starters are provided along with the water (i.e. crab crisps and sweet-hot sauce). Overall, chinese food well above average, good time spent there and reasonable prices, my definite recommendation for a night out. :)

Great atmosphere, subtile music, service was excellent and food one of the best Chinese I've ever had! Prices are affordable. Will definitely come back!
