New City in Winchester

I just wrote a review and it dissapeared!I see some bad reviews from 3 years ago so I want to update.Very satisfied! Hot food delivery was super fast.Very tasty, lots of meat and shrimp in the sechuan special.MUCH BETTER THAN JADE GARDEN!Thank you for polite and good service from all your staff.I used to buy here 15yrs ago. Don't know if same owners, but glad to see still got good service and food.Thanks!

really disappointing, main issue our chicken was very hard to chew in our hong kong style, almost hard - hope this isn't normally the case; probably won't be returning due to not worth the money it was.

An average Chinese take out in Winchester. Good quantity, okay taste, quick service.

Waited an hour extra after the original time stated for my order, was not worth the wait at all either. Got told 3 times that the manager would ring us as she was the only person who could ring the driver and tell us where our order was. Communication is terrible and will not be ordering from here again as was so dissppointing.

Not good communication

Absolutely dreadful!!! I don't know what happened to this place. The worst Chinese I ever had. The duck was mostly skin with lots of bean sprouts in pink water like sauce, chow mein had no flavour. We won't be ordering again.

Best Chinese Food

Myself and my family have been ordering from New City Chinese on a regular basis for the last few years. We have never had any complaints, their food has been consistent and delicious. However, since closing down their store in Winchester and moving their premises, we have have recently ordered a takeaway and received the most abhorrent and rude customer service. We spent well over forty pounds here and when it was delivered the curry wasn't filled to it's full capacity and there we're two of our items missing. I then phoned up to enquire about this and they accused us of repeatedly phoning up to say we have missing items in order to get free food - we have never done this and we are quite upset by the response they gave us. So therefore, we will not be ordering from here again. Disappointed.
