Oriental Star in Winchester

The food Turned up late. I was struggling to unlock the door, I heard a huff and then she put the food on the floor and walked off. I got the curry out and there was 3 tiny bits of chicken, 3 tiny bits of beef and a couple bits of pork, then the whole thing was filled up with mushrooms onions and on top of that the actual curry sauce tasted disgusting. Spent 15 mins trying to get through on the phone to them. And when I finally did the lady was extremely rude on the phone. Laughing at me patronisingly and arguing with the chef. The little bit of meat that was in the curry tasted like jerky Coz it was so overdone and dry. When I asked why there was hardly any meat, she replied the chef said there is some in it and that's that and it's not worth arguing with the chef over.1 extremely unhappy customer and will never Be ordering from them again

Ordered at 7 o’clock after being told it was a 50 min waiting time and it arrived at 9:15 without an apology or any explanation. Rang them 10 times with no answer!

Never let me down yet, I actually turn up and order, seems the bad reviews are to do with delivery,if you want it quick,get off your arses and go get it yourselves!

Great food, when I got there they was busy, but did my order quickly & still hot when I got home, definitely will go back., only down side there was no menu's The lady did say look on the web site.

Absolute disgrace. We have ordered from Oriental star in the past and have always been incredibly happy. Yet, this evening, we ordered food, were told it was delivered, (which it had not been)at which point I phoned oriental star who did not answer their phone. We went down to Oriental star and collected from them. The food was cold and the squid was tough. I will not be purchasing from them anyone. Sadly. But to not answer the phone and a message to be received saying that it was delivered, is not funny.

Ordered food at 7.10 told a 40 minute wait for delivery. 9.15 the food arrived, no one answers the phone. As a customer you not being able to contact them when you food hasn't arrived is extremely frustrating. I will never order from this place again.
