Nice food, good service. Amazing cakes!

The atmosphere and the staff were lovely. I liked their hot chocolate. However, the cakes look better on the outside than they taste. I thought they would be softer.

Visited 16th April and very disappointed - should have read the reviews! Ordered scrambled egg and bacon on toast - when arrived bacon was very dry and only warm, had clearly been cooked some time ago and yet hardly anyone in the place. Informed waitress who kindly asked if we would like it replaced however we declined as we were limited for time. On paying i politely expressed the disappointment and was told the cost of the bacon had been removed from the bill. I explained that this was not the point we just wanted a well cooked basic breakfastitem and an enjoyable experience. What is it restaurants/cafe establihments do not understand? - if you can cook it yourself better at home, why are you going to spend money eating out its only eggs and bacon!

Wonderful Winchester and Patisserie Valerie adds additional beautyHandcrafted cakes and sandwichesExcellent and friendly staff. Had a good breakfast.I'm now tempted to make another trip to Winchester

We came for breakfast. My wise husband said the empty tables are a clue. He was right cold food. Weird Welsh rarebit. Dry soggy toast. Had to ask for butter. Not enough oat milk fir coffee or almond milk. Air of an old church hall. Hmmm🤔

Me and friend went for a afternoon tea . We didn't get asked if we had any allergy ( ie nuts) the sandwiches was not worth having . All together I wouldn't every go there again it not worth the money . I wouldn't even give it one star

We had a afternoon tea voucher, as winchester is near us we went there, very very disappointed. Not worth the money, £32 they charge for a poor quality cafe, chairs were disgusting seat covers falling apart, staff slap dash, best part was the tea.Wouldn't recommend.

Usually good food and service. Today, assistant on till was rude. We queued for a long time to get a table, no one came to us despite the fact there were several empty tables. 6 people in the queue gave up and left. Eventually we were taken to a table, only to be told there was no kitchen food, only cake and drinks. We left and so did the people behind us. Why no sign in the door? Would have to be persuaded to return. Very disappointing

this is a great place for tea or breakfast. We had the English breakfast and my fiance had the Stones which were large and tasty. the servers were polite and the place seemed really full of people who were enjoying their phone.

Pleasantly suprised by size of portions. Only stopped for a drink but ended up ordering two slices which my wife and I shared and took two different slices home. Drinks, cakes and service good. Will definitely come here again.
