Staff were really nice. Food wonderful, even a few seats outside. Definitely worth a visit

It’s great food just some of the staff are a bit rude but others are amazing and after reading a review of a tooth inside the in a pasty I am a bit worried to eat the food again but I definitely recommend the cheese straws

Awful. Not allowed to use their cafe because they put coffee in a takeaway mug without asking. No dairy free or vegan options available for daughter with allergy. And coffee tasted awful. Avoid. Easily done with costa and Nero right opposite. Usually go fir independents, but this was awful.

Visiting Winchester and first time in this bakery, lovely staff, amazing tasting buns and take out coffee. Will be back

Great selection of really tasty food. Our favourites are the Wiltshire pasties, macaroons, and the lemon tarts. The coffee is good as well. We always vist when in Winchester. 👍👍👍

Excellent assortment of baked goods!! I loved the chocolate twizzler for my morning stroll! The staff are amazing and very polite! They have a wide range of sweets and savouries that are light, refreshing and just what you need to start your day! Even the prices are very cheap and affordable.

Members of staff were very rude to me. After bagging up my order, one staff member essentially threw my order on the counter. One item dropped on the floor on the other side of the counter from her side, landing by my feet.I picked it up and looked at them; the two staff members looked at me, as they saw the bag drop on the floor too. They looked at me and didn't say a word.I can't believe they are so rude. I am a first time visitor to Winchester, I can't get my head around about what happened. Then they asked me what else do I want?I didn't ask for a new one since the pastry was still in its packaging. They didn't offer to exchange it, nor did they say sorry.Their sandwiches and pastries are tasty, the coffee is very good. But it's also pricey.Good food but not pleasant experience. Won't go again.

This place is often busy so I thought I’d try it even though I don’t eat gluten. I asked if they had anything gluten free and they laughed. Well news flash, many people can’t have gluten and gluten free options for bread, pasta, pizza crust, cookies, brownies, etc are everywhere. One person there said the macaroons are gluten free so I got that for my spouse since he likes macaroons. He really enjoyed it and said it was fresh. So I went back again and got macaroons. Unfortunately there was paper stuck on them as if it was fondant icing. I thought it was fondant because the macaroon was so intensely sweet but I discovered it was indeed paper stuck on it with no way to get it off as if the paper was baked into it. See my photo and you’ll know what I mean. Had I noticed in the store I would’ve said something but this is a place where you get items to go.The macaroon was fresh and moist but way too sweet and the paper ruined it for me.

Very cool place on the Winchester High Street. My colleague advised my to try a cheese straw while in England for work, so as soon as I saw a sign outside saying they had cheese straws, I went it to grab one. It was delicious! I didn't notice much else but my other colleague got a sausage roll and loved it. Seemed like the prices were reasonable, but I didn't have much to compare it to since I am not from England.

Lot of good options to choose from. Seating area at the 1st floor and in the ground floor it’s take away. The menu looks different upstairs and also people are not friendly. Coffee served was really bad for the money paid & it was just from a coffee machine directly. Food was average. This is a place good for take away which costs you less and better options to choose from. The people below were friendly as well.
