one of the best restaurant in winchester , good service , fresh food ,chefs are extra special ,good show man ship . now most of the restaurant charge you for deposit and the no show . the restaurant have mentioned it when you book the table

Shame you can’t leave a no star review.Booked in for a hen party, the bride unfortunately came down with covid ( NHS staff member). Customer service appalling. The restaurant suggested she attended with covid and would not let her reschedule when she was better! Absolutely appalling. Will never book here again

Nice lively place with live teppenyaki. It was quite busy on the weekend so we made a reservation online. However, it seems they were not using the digital system and might have been unaware of our booking. Nevertheless, we were seated promptly and served very quickly. Food is good too, definitely recommend the teppenyaki.

Great venue and experience. We were lucky enough to have a later booking Saturday night so our party of 6 got our live chef and hot plate table to ourselves which was fantastic.There is plenty of options (not just sushi) we went with the teppenyaki set meal with a selection of starters, choice of 3 meats with rice and veg and a dessert - all of which was filling so no need for concern!Food is lovely and cooked fresh in front of you, bit of theatrics and fun for everyone - would highly recommend.

Lovely surroundings, relaxed and friendly environment. Food prepared fresh and presented attractively. Well worth a special meal out.

We enjoyed a lovely working lunch at Samurai.The staff are really friendly and can't do enough for you.Portion sizes are some of the best in Hampshire, especially my scallops which aren't done justice by my poor photography! They were lovely and fresh and huge!The prawns and the duck were also superb as was the freshly prepared sushi.For an entertaining good quality meal you would do hard to better Samurai.

Excellent quality food and choice on the menu. I was upstairs but the customers downstairs in the Teppanyaki area sounded like they were having a great time- lots of cheering going on which was nice to hear.Waitress and staff were great. Slightly small portion sizes for the sushi but very tasty otherwise. Will definitely be returning.

I wish I had taken photos and videos and all of the things to share with the world.Food was fantastic, cooked to perfection, the chef prepared everything in front of us. Would totally recommend to anyone I could.Value for money because we had a set 3 course meal and there was loads of food.... but I definitely spent 100 on 2 meals with drinks ... still - totally recommended!

Really enjoyable meal this evening at the tepenyaki table. The chef provided great entertainment and the food was delicious!Two points I'd make, which aren't negatives they'll just help plan your visit.If you want to avoid a late night go for the early sitting, we booked for 8pm but didn't eat until 9pm.If you're hungry go for the chicken, salmon or prawns, these were cooked first as they need to be cooked through. The steak and duck can be served medium etc so came up last.

The food was delicious, the ambience and decoration nice, and the staff were really friendly and attentive. The sushi and hot food arrived far apart from each other meaning half our party were finished eating before the other half had got their food. One strange thing was that the only music played the whole time we were there was Katy Perry. Other than that, food was great and I would go again.
