Use to love this pub :( the owners have changed a few times now and the service gets worse every time I visit. Nick the main waiter is rude and you can tell he hates being there, I’m not here for 5 star service but there’s no need to be rude when I ask a simple and polite question. All the other staff are young and friendly but obviously have minor training, it’s a shame and I hope this doesn’t put a stamp on there working in hospitality experience.

First time at the Cricketers following a nice walk in Alresford by the river. I would definitely recommend it!! The staff were really friendly and made our group (including kids and dog) very welcome. The surroundings were lovely cosey pub feel and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I had the veggie lasagne and the apple and caramel crumble. Would definitely return.

The Cricketers is set on the outskirts of Alresford. It has a lovely outside area, garden and kids play area. With a good size car park. The food is really good and they can accommodate most dietary needs. I have been their several times now and have enjoyed eating there.

Good pub food. Staff very friendly and helpful. Landlord also came over for a chat too. Would go again, and recommend to others.

We had delicious Sunday roasts at The Cricketers yesterday - the pork, lamb, and chicken were all declared fabulous, and it was the best nut roast I've ever had! Clean plates all round, despite the very generous portions. Great puds as well and lovely staff. Excellent value for money too. We highly recommend a visit and will be back soon to try some other dishes!

Came for Sunday roast. Excellent food, good portion sizes and reasonable prices. Too full for dessert but am sure its equally as nice!
