The Bishops Waltham Tandoori in Winchester

We had a big ledge and was quoted an hour wait, it turned up within 30 minutes and was delicious. Will be back!

AMAZING…. We dined here for New Year’s Eve and almost did not attended after reading the last few reviews….The staff where extremely attentive, food was to a extremely good standard and we did not have to wait long for drinks. Reasonably priced and a nice environment.Bhuna and honey chicken is recommended. Cobra delicious.

Good food, great service. I had a vegetarian dish which was really tasty.

Don't no if its changed hands cause the usual people were not in there but had a takeaway tonight spent nearly 50.00 and it was awful. Chips very greasey curry no taste. Even the rice had no taste. Very poor. Been going here 4 years but won't be going again

My wife and I went for a meal with a friend. Gentleman serving us kept trying to argue with us about what we wanted to order; no idea why? When the food came some of it was undercooked and the rest of it was just massively over seasoned with cardamom to the point we couldn't taste anything else.

Excellent service great food always worth the wait. Friday Saturday very busy good service in the restaurant.

The staff were very attentive and the food was excellent, I will certainly be going back, good value meal.

Don’t let the smells for outside fool you as it seems utterly incredible. However upon visiting and actually eating here and trying out what they have to offer, I was severely disappointed. It seemed that it was acceptable to have everything swimming in grease/ghee and lacking the flavours and spices that make curry dishes so divine.I really had high hopes but nothing about it was great!

Always enjoy the food from the Waltham Tandoori, the service is very good and the prices are reasonable. I was the only customer in the restaurant at 5pm on a Friday. You can buy a drink whilst you wait for takeaway.
