The Brushmakers Arms in Winchester

What an amazing traditional village pub. We left it late on a Saturday to find somewhere for lunch, gave them a call out of the blue and they were able to fit us in with a bit of rejigging. The staff could not have been more helpful once we’d arrived, and the locals were super friendly. Food was great, beer was perfect - it was everything we needed. Thank you once again for being so accommodating!!

We went over this evening. Great fun ! No electricity on after the storm. Everyone just got on with having a few beers no lights and candles everywhere! A few 🧙‍♀️ in the premises. A nice evening and thanks to Nicki Reece and the staff. Good on you 👏. Mike and Jennifer

Can not praise this pub highly enough.Amazing food, great staff and dog friendly.Perfect in the summer or winter. One of the best pubs in Hampshire

What a wonderful place for a Sunday lunch! We had a very positive experience from the beginning, with the landlady very kindly squeezing us in at the end of the lunch sitting. The service was excellent and the roast lamb was one of the best I've had in a pub. We also had a very grumpy baby with us and they couldn't have been more understanding and welcoming in spite of that. Thank you so much for a great meal, we really enjoyed ourselves!

Friendly staff and lots of outside space. Perfect for a sunny day with cosy inside spots for cooler times. Plenty of ales to try. Recommended.
