The Bugle Inn in Winchester

Pleased with the experience. Very friendly staff. Good service. Enjoyed the Sunday Roast. No complaints. We are still looking for real roast potatoes though. The Bugle Inn like all other that serve very nice roast dinners ruin it by what seems to be deep fried boiled pots. Some one will get it right one day and clean up.

It is amazing. Really lovely food.They had a bit of a mishap with the time it took for us to get our food today (however I am VERY sure this doesn’t usually happen) and they reacted to the situation extremely well and were very apologetic and looked after us.A situation that could have easily put me off, was made completely okay and I will happily go again… many times actually!Food is incredible. Definitely go for a roast. Their potatoes are divine.

Couldn't find a parking space for ages and made the beginning of our evening stressful. Once inside it was pleasant. Seats dirty. Food was good. Would go back but not raving about it

I would recommend asking not to have a table neer the doors if it's cold - or be prepared to wear a coat while you eat. We had the mussels, which were delightful and the beef - for 2. We found our cut to be incredibly fatty though. I would say about and 1/8 of the volume was inedible really. Which was disappointing. Asked for medium rare and it was a little blue in places.

First visit for Sunday lunch. It was a lovely experience,food was very good, waiting staff very well presented,polite and smiling. Will return again in the not too distant future.

Awesome food, unbelievably good service. The interior was pretty, it had a great atmosphere.They were very accommodating to our dietary requirements, very good for gluten free. In addition, we were stuck in traffic so we're not going to make it for our time slot or even the kitchen being open. They took our order over the phone and had it ready for when we walked in the door.I would not hesitate to go back or recommend this pub.

Sunday roast absolutely stunning, I had the pork, delicious. Prawn salad as the main a delight also. Kids devoured the burgers with glee. Issue with postmix on the cokes sorted without delay. Staff attentive and brought top bantz. Would love to try rest of the menu.

Nice country pub. Staff are friendly. Nice ales on tap. Had a log fire when we were there. Well worth a visit bot if you want to eat make sure you book.

We went for a Sunday roast which was delicious & very flavoursome. I would say that the meat portions were a little small but we definitely didn't leave hungry! The rest of the meal was plenty enough.Our 1st visit during a weekday I have to say the quality of the food was outstanding. Compliments to the Chef :)All the staff were extremely welcoming attentive and helpful. This was our 2nd visit and I would highly recommend a visit.

I was lucky to get a table for 2 without a reservation on Thursday night. A last minute thought for a Brother-Sister catch up. Perfect service, food, drink selection and even the Flat Whites to finish. Everything was done with the very best ingredients, prepared and served with obvious care, attention and skill. I could not imagine better.
