The Bush Inn in Winchester

Not impressed, four of us were eating and the food took 1.5 hours to arrive. The food was simple pub food that was overpriced. We have been before and it was great, something has gone wrong and they need to fix it soon or they will loose more business.

Lovely country pub right on a beautiful chalk bed stream. Had free range chicken on the menu too, a real bonus as so few restaurants serve free range.

The food is always good at the bush . The chefs clearly care about the menu. The pub it’s self is set in a beautiful location and very cozy on the inside. However the FOH staff are very inattentive, slow and bordering on rude. It really lets the pub down.

We had a big 60th birthday for my mum here which was absolutely great. Fabulous from the moment it was booked. We ordered ahead and the food intolerances were very carefully taken into consideration. Amazing service from Simon and his team while we were there and the food was delicious. No question too difficult to answer. We had a whole room in the back to ourselves which we were able to decorate as pleased. Very highly recommend.

Lovely setting and friendly staff. The walk by the river right next to the path is beautiful and sets you up nicely for a pint! Only had a drink so can't comment on the food unfortunately

A truly stunning weather day … ideal for a short strut along the glorious River Test and lunch at the Bush Inn. Very friendly helpful staff, dog 🐶 friendly and an idyllic pub garden. Quality food good ales…. What more could you ask?

Nice pub in a lovely location, Good covid precautions, nice beers and food. Booking is required to ensure a table. There is an outside covered area, and it is table service including drinks.
