The Coach & Horses in Winchester

Wow! Haven't been in since it's reopened with mostly new staff and a recharged menu. Nice to see locals enjoying themselves as this pub was very needed in this community. Excellent lunch of "posh" fish finger sandwich with mixed dressed salad garnish and crisps. Absolutely delicious. My friend had an equally tasty tuna and sweetcorn sandwich. Look forward to returning and glad to see this pub back!

This pub has gone downhill. Again. The choice of food was ridiculous. Most of the menu was not available. I had a chicken curry. It came with rice and a poppadom. This was about £12 or £13. Overpriced I'd say. No cider on tap either.Last time I was here was around October 2021. I'd avoided it since then but thought I'd give it another go at end February 2022. Fair to say, I won't go here again.Extra star was for the wood fire.

Amazing pub, full of character, brilliant staff, polite and full of happiness. The food was beyond amazing, certainly left full. Would recommend to anyone. Will be going again!

We dropped in for a quick pit stop but it's a really friendly pub with a lovely atmosphere. We'll be back again soon for lunch 👍

We had a CHILDREN'S BIRTHDAY PARTY on Sunday in the garden - a perfect place for a 5 yr-olds party: things for them to climb on, lots of space, more than enough for a Bouncy castle, a large marquee, all in an enclosed area that is safe. Paul did some nice hot nosh (chicken nuggets, chips etc) that the kids really enjoyed. Add on a car park immediately behind and the facilities of the pub 30 yards away (loo, beer etc) and it scores 10 out of 10. Faultless, cheap and very highly recommended
