The Dove Inn in Winchester

Absolutely gem in the country, must visit. When we went we had one of the most lovely meals in the world and the staff were so accommodating as they had to cater for a gluten free patron, and their response was phenomenal offering almost everything the glutenous parts replaced or excluded. Overall a really lovely place with wonderful staff.

Wouldn't eat there again, dreadfully overpriced ploughman's lunch served with smoked processed ham - really! Thankfully some decent beers and ciders

This is such a wonderful pub, the staff are kind and attentive, it was really such a lovely afternoon under the pagoda and enjoying the delicious meals. Dog friendly too, great pub I will be back again. Thank you all, especially biscuit, lady whom our dogs loved 😂

Lovely staff, really sweet had a Santa's grotto made up for the kids and did a visit from Santa. Brilliant experience really lovely.Today we had lunch in the pub garden. Beautiful food my wife and I had the Vegan cheeseburger which was delicious, my dad had a very fancy looking fish finger sandwich with salad.

One of the best places i've ever stayed. Very friendly, excellent food, nice accomodation and good price (by their own website). Making you feel like home...or better!!

Had Christmas shopping to do so decided to "let the train take the strain" and The Dove Inn at Micheldever fitted the bill as it was just 30 seconds from the railway station. On arrival we were welcomed by the friendly staff and shown to our room which overlooked the garden and was spotless and spacious. After unpacking we made our way to the restaurant and we had Sunday Lunch - amazing value for the money. There was a Quiz during the evening and we were invited to join the villagers if we wanted. Next morning, breakfast, well you will never go hungry at this establishment - it was enough to keep us both going all day. We spoke to the owner during breakfast and were told of the Vodka Bar where they sell chilled Polish Vodka of various flavours - noted, try one this evening. Evening meal, just the one course tonight and a cherry and chocolate Vodka, complimentary from the owners which was a nice touch - thank you. Breakfast next morning, a smaller version at our request but excellently cooked and presented. Can only praise the owners and staff for their friendliness and cooking, if you're looking to stay around this area look no further than The Dove Inn - you wont be disappointed.

Excellent pub with delicious and interesting food (some Polish options too), very welcoming and great service. Can't wait to return.

Stayed for the weekend at The Dove Inn. Great hospitality (family run), food is delicious and lovely location. We visited Winchester and Southampton for shopping also The Bombay Sapphire Distillery Tour was great and very nearby The Dove Inn.
