The Flowerpots Inn in Winchester

There is no doubt the beer is excellent but the food leaves a lot to be desired. I had a venison pie which had been in the oven long enough to make it very dry and not pleasant at all. I ordered it with no chips but it still arrived with chips. All in all a bit slap dash.

Loved it great food great beer at great prices...Will go back to visit the brewery in the daytime

We visited here as a big group for an Xmas meal. The staff were great and food all came out quickly and without any issues! Beer was also excellent! Only comment would be that there was quite a lot of turkey! Less turkey and more trimming would be cool! The nut roast tasted brilliant

Fantastic local beer. The whole place has had a major upgrade and their ale is top quality and brewed on site. Good is pretty good too. What more do you need!?

Had a great evening. Staff friendly and very efficient. Food was well priced. Good selection of wine at a reasonable price. Beer was excellent. Would recommend.

What a find. We looked online for a dog friendly pub whilst on holiday in the area and we were so pleased to have come across this charming one. They are very dog friendly, which is refreshing, along with friendly staff. Great food, plenty of seating inside and out and lots of parking, which helps when you turn up in a motorhome. They also have their own brewery selling ale to takeaway, which was an unexpected surprise and we took full of advantage of this, very nice! I just wish this was our local pub. We will definitely pay another visit when in the area next.

Lovely country pub, very popular going by the number of people there. Great food and beer, and plenty of outside seating.

Such a great find, can't rate this pub highly enough.We were camping nearby and had taken a walk through the stunning village of Cheriton. We found The Flowers Pots Inn just in time for lunch (we were 2 families with young children)The pub has a vast outdoor seating area, with a number of tables under cover; we were lucky enough to get 2 of these.Great choice of ales (available for take away from the brewery next door)Fantastic choice of foods for lunch and the portion sizes were generous, ranging from filled baguettes, ploughman's to quiches all extremely reasonably prices as well, food delivered to your table in a large wicker basket (loved this idea)Couldn't have been better, staff were friendly and very accommodating to our children.Maybe will visit again in the future.

Fantastic pub in a beautiful rural location. Plenty of seating outdoors with a couple of areas under canopies. I had the frittata l, chips and side salad which was delicious.
