Had lunch here on Sunday and enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the staff were brilliant. I chose fish and chips with a side salad and thoroughly enjoyed it. Will definitely return.

Had lunch here today in this lovely old pub overlooking a pond. We chose fish and chips and really enjoyed them. The staff were so friendly and efficient, we loved it. We will definitely return.

Really friendly pub. Welcoming and accommodating staff, lovely open fires and dog friendly too. What's not too like?

Excellent light lunch. I went for the fish cake starter, my daughter a portion of fries and 17 year old son the lemon tart...yes an odd mix but we each got the bit we wanted. All were perfectly cooked. Will repeat with my wife for a proper meal next time. Good garden view of the lake if you get the right table although in summer it's easy as a garden overlooking the water.

Great food. Have been here many times and very authentic old inn. Garden is particularly good in the summer overlooking the pond.

Lovely pub and the food was superb! Open log fire in the bar and local lager which goes down a treat! Stood in the garden for a while and watched a stunning mourner show from the starlings, truly delightful!

Wonderful place. We didn't try the food as we'd already booked another place but we'll definitely be going back there. Looked gorgeous with its Christmas decorations.

Perfect venue with an amazing view of the lake. We went for the meal deal, which was great value. We all liked our starters, the view on the main was mixed. But a lovely meal nonetheless.

Fantastic value two courses for £12. Large portions and great quality We had a big pile of whitebait and the locally sourced sausage and mash was just delicious. Lovely sunny garden that over looks a pretty pond full of swans and geese.
