Great place for a couple of pints or a snack. The manager's special, fish and chips with mushy or garden peas, at £4.99, was a very large portion of freshly cooked cod and amazingly good value. As usual with wetherspoon, friendly, helpful staff. And the toilets are on the ground floor! Well worth a visit.

Popped in for breakfast. Ordered at the bar as it didn't look like I could exchange the breakfast items on the app. Order taken quickly and efficiently by the bar staff. Food arrived soon after and it was hot and tasted great. Good coffee from the machine that is free refills

Didn't seem busy for a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of empty tables available as we arrived at 1.45pm. Restaurant was clean, staff were friendly and food and drink orders came reasonably quick. All correct too.Toilets weren't very clean though but maybe they were due to be inspected.

Very busy at time of visit however it was very apparent that some customers were under 18, I spoke to door staff about this and they acknowledged this to be an issue due to Wetherspoons company policy of accepting Citizen Card as ID despite the fact these can be bought on line, easily and cheaply with no checks. Also drug dealing taking place again reported to door staff.Very cheap but that's all it has going for it.

Walked in through the doors and literally was told we had been drinking too much tonight. We had only just started and think the staff need to be better trained at recognising who they are serving. If you want to investigate, we're the group who ordered tonight at 10pm with a girl in a yellow coat.

Breakfast only on this occasion. Reasonable variety on offer on menu. Cheaper than many other cafes or pubs offering breakfast. Good service and food . Coffee refillable. Getting busier slowly, as restrictions are lifted Parking in public car parks only.

It was Christmas market day, around lunch time, when we opted for the local Weatherspoon to rest our feet and grab some lunch. The place was heaving but we eventually found a table... in fact there's not much to say a part that the whole experience has been pleasant, without too much wait considering. The food was good enough for the prices, the drinks cold and the toilets were looked after regularly. It will not stand as a memorable time but it was decent.

Always like coming here easy to use with the app. Food is always good service friendly. One of the cheapest places to get a beer around £3:60 a pint and if you have a wrap it’s around £6 including a pint they also do curry days and steak day good value. It could do with updating some of the tables and chairs though.
