The Otter Public House in Winchester

Lovely service and great food. My son had the steak burger and I had the ale pie and it was very tasty and large and I couldn't eat it all. Would definitely like to return when visiting in the area again.

Really nice pub, lovely food, good quality and yum. The burgers are decent. Proper pub, with a little returaunt area, amazing outside space, parking for days. Good ales and selection of nibbles. Quality place with stuff going on also, darts, quiz night etc.

Sweet place, has nice character. Staff friendly and food very nice, hot and tasty. Very filling. Recommend booking as quite small. Nice garden, allows dogs outside but not inside food area. Unsure about bar area.

Food & beer always excellent. Always a lovely friendly proper pub atmosphere, best pub for miles. Christmas decorations at present are superb, well worth a visit just to admire them.

Lovely pub with fairly quick service. Excellent parking even though we don’t need it because we are local. Drinks are fine only thing to improve I would think is the selection of vegan choices. Highly recommend for an uncomplicated and hearty meal for the whole family. Oh yes very child friendly staff and comfortable interior, our children love it.

A quaint and cosy traditional pub with beautiful surroundings.Had a covered outdoor area decorated with fairylights and flags while indoors was spaced out seating with low ceiling and an easily accessible bar.The food was delicious with a generous serving on the plate. The burgers were delicious!They also had specials on the menu that they would write up on the chalk board, a lot of unique flavours that I would not expect at a pub.Staff was friendly and helpful.Would definitely recommend and come back again when next in Hampshire.

Nice little pub, in a quiet village location. Lots of outside seating and hearty, tasty burgers. Only knocked a star off due to having no facilities for babies or toddlers so don't expect any high chairs or activity sheets, but if you have older kids and want good beer and good food it's worth a visit.

The Otter has always been a friendly, atmospheric pub but they have raised their already high bar further over the last 12 months. Their standard burger has improved again to the point where I can't think of a pub burger that I enjoyed more. See the photos as it was perfect! And the garden is now as atmospheric as the lovely old interior bar complete with copper top. The outdoor heating was a welcome bonus 👌
