Great atmospheric country pub, with fine selection of Wadworth ales and lovely pub grub. Really enjoyed their signature burger, cooked to perfection

James, Charles and the team always look after us so well. They now have a new chief and the food looks fab. Great garden (when we have the weather)... The Quiz & Jazz night are good and very busy.. Always best to book!. See you soon..

We had to push back our lunchtime booking 3 times due to train issues for some of our group and they were more than happy to accommodate each time. Food was delicious, with good quality produce and nicely presented. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. We ended up spending a wonderfully relaxing afternoon in front of a real fire, eating good food and drinking good beer in a lovely welcoming atmosphere. What more can you ask for?

Highly recommended. Cosy, welcoming pub with excellent food and friendly staff. A bit pricey but worth it - even does cocktails - the Old Fashioned was really good. Will return.

We popped into The Plough Inn, Sparsholt, for a quick lunch as we were staying locally for the weekend. What a great village pub!! The staff were extremely personable and professional - my wife is vegan and the staff couldn't have been more helpful - and the food really tasty, well-represented and also well-priced. We enjoyed it so much we've also booked for tomorrow evening!

The team is always genuinely friendly and make you feel welcome - whether for a quick pint or dinner. My wife is Gluten Free and really appreciates the level of choice on the menu for her. Food is always tasty, and you will not leave hungry, given the generous portion sizes!

We had a large family gathering on Monday 16th August on the evening before our wedding.I cannot praise the team enough in their service and help during the build up to it. From answering emails, and last minute location changes due to the weather forecast. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. No one was left waiting when others had theirs. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed.Thank you so much for everything. We loved it. I would highly recommend paying a visit to this beautiful country pub with fantastic staff and gorgeous food!

A beautiful country pub, with extensive gardens, plenty of seating and childrens play area. Very attentive staff offering excellent service with a smile. Stunning menu catering for all tastes, and when the food was delivered to our table it surpassed all our expectations, absolutely fantastic. Will definitely return and recommend 100% to go and have a great chilled out relaxing indulgence.
