The Roebuck in Winchester

Service was great and the pub had great vibes and looked beautiful. The meal was a little disappointing.

I’ve checked the website which is very nice and you can choose from many food. Again on the website!! Therefore i’ve booked a table a week ago for yesterday at 7 pm.When we ‘ve arrived, A4 paper is on the table which included maybe 5-6 main courses . In the end you can choose from 3 foods because “sorry we don’t have ham,egg ,chicken etc. “ Reason we have had a busy day. “ Saturday night at 7 pm ,booked table for 5 people ,not on that day a week ago. No drink or wine menu. Staff usual, not impressed at all.

Enjoyed a Family Meal here. Lovely Wine too. Defintely going to return !

Very good family Sunday Roast! Very nice garden! Very good desert!Such a nice polite young guy served us !( Please put on your card machine possibility to give tip) the service was so good that I went out to find cash to leave. Manager was very helpful.Only minus that there is no parking anymore.

Had a lovely time here a few months ago, we felt welcomed and felt well looked after by staff but when visiting more recently felt like we were being rushed out and staff weren’t as friendly. Food was okay but the atmosphere just isn’t there anymore.

Lovely food and female member of staff was lovely. The main thing that spoilt the evening was the owner demanding we had last orders at 9.30 and was closing the pub at 9.50. Big shame and the managers attitude was towards us was out of order.

Lovely evening so a quick drink with friends seemed like a good idea. The Roebuck garden has received a lot of care and attention providing a fairly secluded place to meet. The staff are welcoming and attentive and in general the atmosphere is friendly and peaceful 😊Even the football being shown was at a volume which meant that it could be ignored !!

Love what they've done with the garden! Great to have a pub with such a nice outdoor space in this area of winchester, really nice feel to it. Would be nice if they had more food options for coeliac, the pizzas can be gluten free but not safe if allergic etc.

Absolutely loved this place. Great location. Lovely staff, very attentive and friendly. Food was outstanding. Really good atmosphere and a lovely experience. Just wish I could have ate it all! It was amazing! :)

Friendly and welcoming pub with excellent food! Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the venue was cosy and comfortable. Good range of drinks, and fast food service. Recommended for a quick drink or bite to eat, or as a venue for a Christmas party
