Brilliant service from all staff, garden BBQ was excellent value at just £11 which included chips, salad, pasta and homemade coleslaw, very friendly and cheerful chef 👨‍🍳 Extremely large garden with plenty of seating and kids play area. Nice, clean toilets with a nautical theme ⛵⚓ Definitely coming back!

·

lovely big beer garden with a pond full of tadpols, a climbing frame for kids. Ideal for a quiet afternoon lunch or beer in the sun.Typical quaint posh village pub.

·

Lovely little pub in a beautiful area near to Marwell Zoo , so oldie worldy, good beer, really good staff and although I haven't eaten there in a long time the last time I did the food was excellent

We live about 15 minutes away in Bramdean and found this little gem 💎Due to lockdown we haven't explored our surroundings properly and so this beautiful pub will be added to our top 5 pubs to go out and dine. The location was great. Plenty of parking. The menu was great for choice and very local produce, from their garden too.The staff was lovely and attentive and knowledgeable which ALWAYS helps. The decor was nice and quirky for its name is reflected in the interior design. The actual food was beautifully presented, the portion sizes perfect and the taste of each dish was very well executed! So much so we are booked in again over the Mother's Day weekend 🙌 🤗 ☺️ Thank you The Ship Inn see you again soon 😊

Helpful, friendly staff and absolutely delicious food! Highly recommended.

Perfect stop point during countryside walk. Nautical themed in line with the name. Lovely Sunday Roast in a relaxed friendly pub.

·

Fantastic food and really warm welcome. I tried the sweet potato, chick pea and coconut pie and it was lovely.

Sunday roast was delicious. Lovely old pub in the middle of what seems like nowhere with extensive pub garden and cosy inside with log fire. Good selection of ales too. Very dog-friendy. Ours got a bowl of water and 2 dog biscuits on arrival. Would definitely make a note to stop here again.

·

A good country pub with loads of character. The downside was me being taller than some of the beams and all the doors.🤕. The food is excellent a cut above pub grub. We have eaten here many times and they never disappoint.

One of the best roasts we have had. Amazing red cabbage and gravy, wonderful cheesy broccoli and cauliflower and great homemade condiments. Can’t wait to go again!
